Why do you ask for a review 4 hours before my tee time?

Over all good course. Greens were slow. Bunkers are poorly kept with very little sand

Second time I’ve played the course this week, course is in great shape.

STILL TRYING TO BREAK 100 BUT IT JUST FORCES ONE TO TRY VERY HARD TO BEAT IT.

Playing on Saturdays at this course is a pain as there are never any cars available after 12 pm. You always have to wait in line and pick up the cart just before or just after your tee time. Leaves no time for warm up if you are one of those golfers who have a difficult time walking down to the range and back. The rest of the days of the week are usually not as busy and the cart shortage situation does not apply. Love this course but not the cart service on Saturdays!

Had played about three weeks ago and the greens were punched and sanded at some point. Putting was difficult. When we played this time, the greens were in great shape and had recovered nicely. Pace of play was pretty good, a little over 4 hours. The driving range and practice greens are nice and the employees have always been very nice and helpful. The price is definitely right compared to some other comparable courses in the area.

Enjoy playing there. Green fees are reasonable, pace is good. Course in good shape.

Today we (a twosome) came to the first tee. There was one person waiting to tee off in front of us. He said he was part of a foursome, his friends were heading to the tee box. Three of them showed up late, teed off , then one other showed up, as part of their group. That makes 5 . They ended teeing off 13 minutes late. Then waited for the 5th guy to catch-up on the fairway. They showed no intention of letting us bypass them. We finally skipped a hole to get by them. Around the 8th hole a single pulled up to us, we asked him to join us. He said he also had to skip a hole, because they gave no intention of letting him go by. Since there are no course marshal’s , there was nothing else to do. Not sure if I will go back.

My original tee time was for the Orchard Course, but the starter let me go to the more favored Hills Course and join a twosome getting ready to tee off. Ahead of us were 2 foursomes and for the first 4 holes we thought that the lead group was slow. However, by the 5th hole they were pretty much out of sight. We waited almost every shot until we were finally let through on the 13th tee. We caught the original lead group on 17.

As noted, it was very windy, but that did not seem to be the cause of slow play. Just poor golf. I would estimate that no one in that group shot less than 100.

There are no longer "marshalls" on most courses in the area, and where there are, they really aren't allowed to deal with slow play.
