the course is a great value
I recommend this course because of the large practice area , there's 2 courses to choose from and they're in great shape
Great day
Course is in great shape.we will play here again
Orchard was awesome
Course was in good shape and greens were great.
Average at best
This was my first time playing the Orchard Course at Lincoln Hills. Disappointed at the conditions of the bunkers...wet sand, not raked and poor. Also, tee boxes were in awful condition. Greens were recently aerated and very sandy. Areas of fairways that were over watered and "swampy". No notification from starter as to which groups should be on first tee. Had to g o search for twosome we were playing with.
Lincoln Hills
Our tee time was on the heels of a scramble. The allotted time for completion of the scramble was 5 hours which was way too optimistic. They should know better. We were shuffled off to the sister course and started 20 min later. The delay was not onerous and the pace of play was fine. They managed a difficult situation well. Once before I had to wait for an hour to tee off due to similar circumstances.
Do not go here.
I say that to help keep the crowds down. Seriously though it was a great course and staff. Highly recommended.
Lincoln Hills
Good time ! Good conditions
Skylar
He does an excellent job. Always friendly, helpful and fast.
Both Lincoln Hills Courses are amazing
This course is challenging, beautiful and a delight to play
A Fun Test
This Billy Casper course is the best I have played on this year. It is in great shape overall compared to others I have played. The course is challenging because of several par fours well over four hundred yards even from the white tee markers. Many of the greens were sloped and undulating as well. The greens were rolling somewhere between a 10 and 11 (my estimate). Water comes into play on a few of the holes and fairway bunkers definitely come into your club selection decision off the tee. Every green that I can remember was well protected by strategically placed greenside bunkers. The water features throughout the course are spectacular. This is located in a Dell Webb retirement community and the amenities are exactly what you would expect them to be, great! The staff and player's assistants were extremely friendly and accommodating. The young ladies driving the refreshment carts insured we were well taken care of arriving just in the nick of time. I highly recommend playing this course as I have already scheduled a future tee time.
Slower than slow
5.5 hours!!!!!! After 4.5 hours it stops being fun. I was a single, got to the 1st tee and they took my cart away & told me to double up with someone I'd never met! they set a 5-some out ahead of us and they're single got to keep his cart! All 5 of those idiots hit from the tips; no one hit it more than 150 yards. One guy didn't make the ladies tees!!!! This went on for 5.5 hours!!!!! Don't play there on weekends!
Lincoln Hills Orchard
Tough weather day, combined with very slow play and greens still recovering from aeration a few weeks ago.
Usually a very pleasant experience but this round was an exception.
Nice Course and Good Value
Course was in good shape, but they had just sanded the greens and there was no indication of it on Golf Now when I made the reservations.
Lincoln hills. Worth the drive
Aside from sanded greens course is in very good shape. 3 weeks to perfect condition
Beautiful day...
It is not only the course it is who you play with...
Just so happens the rain scared golfers off.
We had a great pace and we finished in 4 hours staying on the cart path.
Good course
Couldn't beat the hot deal price; great service and helpful, friendly staff.
Lincoln Hills Orchard Course
ran out of carts--started 1 hour pst tee time, backed up 4 groups in front each hole
Beautiful Golf Course
Both Courses are excellent - Book through their web site for specials. I recommend that you play early.
love the course
ill be back, its tough to reach the 15th on orchard in 2
Why so wet?
Played on Sunday. Course is in good shape despite the drought. Which would lead to my question of "why so wet?" Some sections of fairways had balls plugging. Why would a course have enough water put on it for balled to plug in the middle of a drought? They need to ratchet it back a bit. If I am walking and sinking then there is too much water
We are sorry to hear about your recent experience at Lincoln Hills. We are currently in the process of implanting plans to increase pace of play on a daily basis at Lincoln Hills and will be striving to provide the best experience possible for all of our golfers. Pace of play is very important to us and will be monitored closely.
