This was a great course that I booked just a few days in advance. We were very pleased with the maintenance of the course and greens and will definitely play it again. Great value!!
Other Reviews Tell the story
I play 3-4 times per week all over south Florida. I avoid most public broward county courses because of these reasons.. 1. The staff is absolutely terrible! Rude and outright unpleasant. 2. The courses are average at best, greens are ok, Tee boxes and fairways need work. The rough is St. Augustine grass or sand mostly. Sand traps needs more sand most places, could be borrowed from surrounding areas. There is Nothing special here. If you can play for $20 or $30 before noon it’s worth it, but set your expectations like all the other completely run down public broward courses. The only courses left in broward worth playing under $50 are Woodmont or Hollybrook. Pembroke Lakes and Jacaranda/Preserve make the cut but at a usually higher rate.
Great place for moderate golfers
Nice clean course. Could use some repairs to the grounds and fairways but it seems they are working on that. Greens are not too fast but still better than most other courses at that price. The cost could be less by maybe 20% or more early hour deals would be good. Not very many trees so it’s really hot during the summertime. Overall I enjoyed playing here and had the best round of golf I’ve ever played.

"I should Have Looked at Yelp Reviews Before I Went"
My wife, son and I Golf once a week in the area and decided to check it out. We paid for 18 holes at 4:22 PM more than enough time to finish a round. At hole #7 a lightning storm came out of nowhere.Everyone playing headed in. We went to the Pro shop which was closed to get a rain check. I called the next day and was treated like I was trying to steal from them. Anywhere else around they give rain checks no problem (Colony West Etc,). The guy kept saying "Your Not Listening To Me"...Well buddy representing Yelp customers your not listening to us. Here's how customer service works, you keep the $40.92 dollars i figure you owe us (Out of the $80. I paid) and choke on it. Then I tell everyone I meet this story (I'm already up to 12) and they tell 10 people and so on. It's a shame because this is a nice course with a good layout, but there are not good people running it. Bad policies, Horrible Customer Service, Bad people.
Great public course
My first time at Oriole was very surprising. Given its location, this course offers great greens and better than most fairways for local public courses in the area. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good budget course.
Rain
It’s pouring and we can’t play (2 hrs now in the clubhouse), but they won’t close the course, despite temporary power outage inside. SMH.
I LOVE THE PERSONAL OF THE STORE
THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY GOOD, I LOVE THAT ALL THE STAFF SHOWED INTEREST IN ASSISTING THE CLIENTS, THEY TREATED ME AS IF I WAS A DISTINGUISHED MEMBER. THE LADY AT THE PRO-SHOP IS PHENOMENAL AND EFFICIENT. THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD AND WITH GOOD TASTE. IT TOOK A LONG TIME BUT I MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THE GIRL WAS ALONE AND THERE WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE
Oriole Golf
I played this course the other day. I played Blue tees because a lot of the holes were under 400 yards and wanted to hit driver. Was a nice layout, greens had been aerated, but rolled nice. Really no complaints. There was a massive rain storm that blew in for an hour, but course dried nicely.
All in all it was an average course and I would play it again.
Nice place to play
The lady at the Pro-Shop is super friendly and professional. I like this place, they care a lot about taking care of the golf course.
Greens are pure and quick. Bunkers in great shape. Fairways were punch and patchy, thin in other spots. Course layout is nothing to brag about but there are a few nice holes. Great value at $40 for a fun around.
Awesome Course.
Hands down some of the best greens in South FL right now for a public course. 2-3 tee boxes looked pretty rough but they were all drivable so it didn’t affect my game. Will definitely be coming back here again soon.
Rude Staff
The staff at this facility are extrude unfriendly no one smiles. Ruining a beautiful day
Condition
Why is it so hard to grow grass on the tee boxes?? The greens were excellent. Sand traps well raked. Fairways 50 %
