Beautiful views!
Well maintained and fair course suitable for intermediate to advance golfers.
My Favorite Place to Play
I love this place, such a beautiful setting in the hills of Moorpark, with well manicured holes and scenery of the Whole Moorpark on various holes. Challenging enough to enjoy each hole but not to challenging to frustrate the average player. True country club experience in every way.

Spectacular Course
This GEM is in the hills NW of LA, with spectacular views and challenging layouts. Still, very playable. Course conditions were excellent, extremely well maintained except the bunkers were hard packed. From the tips, it could be a PGA level tournament course. We will be back on our next trip to LA.
this course has good features
I love this course....
i play yesterday...was good game...also
I like to play early morning....good price..too
A RIDE IN THE PARK
The greens were beautiful, the fairways lush and I played well............what more can you ask from a golf course. A little pricey, but well worth it!
A little slow the first two holes, then it opened and the pace of play was great. 4 hrs 20 minutes.
The restaurant and bar are immaculate and the service is very good.
I Look forward to my next round at Moorpark!
Great place to play
It was in very good condition. Had a great score so maybe that's what made the trip so good.
Moorpark County Club
Outstanding course.
The conditions were fabulous.
The entire staff was great.
We took a party of four, we will be back.
Very nice course
I love this course! 3 sets of 9, all very nice. We played creekside. It was difficult but fun
One of the Best Golf Courses in Ventura County
golf course is in excellent condition. The three (3) nines are all different and challenging. It is a great course and value during the week to play 27 holes.
Great golf club
3 nine hole course is as good as it gets. Creekside 9 holes are the best we have played. What every golf course should be. Hard but very fun. Great golf
Great course, good condition
Live in Venice, CA so I'm used to having to drive 45-60 mins to play a decent track and Moorpark didn't disappoint. Got a good deal on Golfnow (~$70 vs. $100) and the course pretty much lived up to the reviews. Good condition, some brown spots on the fairways and the greens had been punched two weeks prior, but overall very pleased. Challenging but not punishing. Not sure I'd pay $100 for it, but $65-80 is worth it. Played Ridge-Canyon.
Greens in bad shape, but good layout
Greens were aerated so in a pretty bad shape, but the course layout was very good. Pace of play very slow and no marshall to speed up or push the flight that was causing a huge delay. Course layout is great though.
Great Time
Good course, hard at times, want to play again! Check it out!
Great Course!
I played Ridgeline/Canyon Crest combination for 18 holes. The view is amazing from the moment you arrive at the course. Clubhouse is gorgeous and the practice facility was excellent. Putting green was big enough to accomodate all eight of us to practice before teeing off. It was a bit unusual to have 3 par 5's and 3 par 3's on nine holes (Ridgeline Course) but it was still chanllenging and fun. The Canyon Crest Course did have typical 5 par 4's, 2 par 5's and 2 par 3's. It was quite windy when we got up to the top of the mountain, but it was still a great day in the middle of February. Overall, the course was great with interesting layout and challenging hole set up. I will definitely come back and play again.
Teriffic course in Moorpark
This course is always in great shape. Very fair off the tee. Greens were smooth and fast.
Great experience.
Great pace to play
Great place to play, just expensive. I only play with deals pop up on Golf Now. Course is in great shape and is always fun to play.
Perfect day
I love this course, tough and beautiful. The greens are a challenge.
Tough course but fun...
I played this course for the first time and wasn't expencting to be that tough.. Maybe I will play better since I'm familiar with the course now.
Now, regarding pricing... I been in other courses and I wasn't that sure about the price to be right. I felt it was I little bit expensive (regular rate).
Anyhow, I was fun.
Fun course, nice staff, worth the cost.
Although the club is semi private my experience was a good one. I was visiting from Washington state and wasn't treated any worse for not being a member. In fact the starter was super kind and helpful. They have 3 nine hole tracks which was great. The greens were true, and the course didn't have any gimmes. Nice practice facility and big clubhouse. Definitely worth checking out!
Howling winds.
The weather was extremely prohibitive. The winds were reaching gusts of 60 mph.The ball would not stay on the tee or the greens. The views were excellent and the course was beautiful. Not worth the expense in this weather.
