Fun Course
Sad to hear my first experience at Franklin Canyon will also be my only one as the course unfortunately is shutting down to become an RV Park. This course had its share of challenges but played fair. The course conditions were good, pace of play was smooth.
No marshals, 6 hour pace everytime
This a course that over caters to a specific age demographic at the detriment of other golfers. Pace of play does not exist here. Its a golf waste land waiting to be turned into townhomes.
What a shame
What a beautiful course, it’s a bummer they want to put a trailer park here. Talk about a backwards move. Golf is only going to get bigger…
Franklin Canyon May 2024
Course needs water in places, but not in the sand traps. Pace was quite slow. Very windy.
Course Closing
This course is going to close in the very near future, wanted to play it one more time. I have played here many times and enjoy my time here. It is nothing spectacular but an enjoyable layout. It has some uphill and downhill, force carries and some don't go long or you are in the can't find my ball territory. If you get a chance play it before it closes.
Sad to see this place go.
This course will be closing in less than a month. Its a shame to see this place go, the worker in the club house said it will become an RV park and hiking spot. The place was super busy with tons of golfers, I can't see the owner making more money as a camp spot. The course is fun and challenging at the same time. Food is great and well priced with friendly staff. I hate to see them lose their jobs. Try the place out before it closes.
Franklin Canyon
They should not be closing this course for a trailer park. This place is a GEM, and needs some investment. A very beautiful canyon in the North Bay, wooded, good breeze, sunshine, plenty of promise.
Great Spot!
I am pretty new to golf and love coming here. The staff is friendly and the security guard is super diligent in the parking lot. Hopefully I play a better round next time😂
Great golf course
First time at Franklin, I’d definitely recommend it to everyone I know. Heard they’re closing done, I hope that they stay open.

Lovely - Too bad it's closing
The course is to be converted into an RV park. Last day of golf is May 29, 2024. The seats on all the carts need repair.
All Good Things Must Come To An End
It is with heavy heart that I write, but as of this review Franklin Canyon will be closing with the last date to play on May 29. While the course can torment thos who struggle to find the fairway it's a great course and you should play it one last time
