Great Weather!
Our threesome played the 18 holes mid day in 4.5 hours which we appreciated. We were behind a group of young yahoos celebrating something but they kept up their pace of play!
Many of the fairways could use more water as they were beginning to brown. Most of the greens had been groomed with chipped ball holes filled and healing.

Best golf course for the area, I hope the city of Hercules change their mind on turning this into RV retreat.

Lied to
Always allowed to play alone. Was forced to pair without consent and told I would slow pace as a 80 golfer from the tips. Understandably she doesn’t have to believe me but either way I paid and I was not refunded and she forced me to cancel.

I have played FCGC 34 Years it is out in rolling hills no houses and an abundance of Wildlife. Golf Courses in NorCal are disappearing that have these attributes. The course conditions are good they have a Marshal driving around in a Golf cart another rarity this day and age. I highly recommend it.
Fun course in good condition
When we went the course was in fine condition. The bunkers aren’t very soft but otherwise fine. Lots of room off the tee. Nice layout. Only waited a couple of times and only for a few minutes. Happy to play again after several years of not playing this course. As good now as back then. Definitely recommend it.
Didn’t enjoy my time here
Played here for the first time and it left me unimpressed. It started off how the parking lot was separated from the pro shop and it was quite a walk. The driving range was not in the greatest condition and the bay I was practicing on had a slope so it messed up my footing after my swing which gave me foot cramps afterwards. Then once I tee’d off from the first hole the cart I got had no battery and I had to be rescued at the end of the first tee which completely threw me off my game. It took me several holes to regain my focus after the cart issue. The greens on every hole except the 11th was slow and raggedy. I mean you think you hit it fast but no it stops the ball half way and you really gotta putt the ball if you want it to regain speed. The front 9 wasn’t as enjoyable as the back 9 in terms of course conditions and course layout

Best this course has ever looked with all of the recent rain. Go now before midsummer when the grass all dies
Best Condition It’s Ever Been In!
Been playing here for 3 years and yesterday was the best condition I’ve ever seen the course. The greens were fantastic, grass in the fairways and we finished our round in 4 hours 15 minutes. Go play here now!
Great conditions.
Course is in the best condition I’ve seen since I started playing this course 4 years ago. No more mud/water issues in fairways. Greens are in great condition. They even had a cart girl with beverages/snacks which is a first for me while playing FC.
