Franklin Canyon Golf Course

I really enjoyed this course. For the price you can’t beat it.

Beautiful grounds if your not a professional golfer and you want to go out and have a good time.

Played this course many times, and enjoy the layout. It’s been awhile since I last played here, but the condition of the course was the worst that I have experienced there. Perhaps due to the drought conditions this past year, but grass was sparse on the tee boxes and in the fairways. Grass on greens was fine, but it appeared that they hadn’t been rolled in a while. Wasn’t much product in the clubhouse so that may be a reflection of the current Management company’s investment in the Course.

I joined up with the Marshall and his wife. We had a good time playing golf that day. Like usual, I always joined up with nice random golfers.

Great course. Greens are great fairways are struggling with drought restrictions.

Played on a Saturday won’t do that again. Greens were good tee box could use some tlc. Pace was so slow 5hrs.+.

Course conditions were disappointing. I’d heard this from friends but wanted to try for myself. Most holes had too much dirt in the fairways. This affects one’s techniques and swings as we compensate for there being no grass in these spots.

For the price, I would expect better. I really appreciate the location and setting. The food in the cafe, however, was excellent. Only one guy managing that area but he did his best, which was good.

If the course had ways for players to preorder from the eight or so hole, one could just pick up and keep going. Hungry players slow the pace down when having to wait for food. Also, consider a runner to bring us the food when it’s ready?

I will try this again I’m a few months. Hopefully, course conditions will have improved. When they do, I’ll definitely recommend FC to friends.

The course played well. The tee boxes needed some care as there were a lot of unrepaired divots paired with crab grass made it difficult to set up properly when on a tee box.

The fairways were well maintained.

The greens were pretty slow and appeared to not have been cut for a few days, which made the greens unpleasant to be on.

The pace of play for 11:00 was great. We finished in 4 hours and 10 minutes.

Staff was great. Course was fun. Decent carts. Had a great day, looking forward to coming again soon.

I've played this course for years and it's really going downhill. Pretty sad what it's become. Fairways are beat up. Greens have divots everywhere. Sand is not sand. It's a shame because I used to love this course.
