Franklin Canyon Golf Course

Went with a small group. Check in was quick and easy and had lots of fun.

I had a great time on this course my first time there. The greens were well taken care of. The course overall was in great shape. You can't beat the price. The clubhouse is limited now due to covid and so is the proshop.

This is a decent layout, generally in fair condition. A lot of the tees are currently under repair (or just closed) so the course played shorter with the white tees often moved up considerably from their measured yardages.

Pace of play was good, and is generally reasonable.

I had so much fun I should have been arrested and thrown in jail. Our group partied like Rock Stars. I will always return to my Green Godess in the Sky.

I was charged for two tee times at $52 and I used one for 18 holes. The clerk at the check in indicated I must have accidentally chosen a 9:10 am tee time when I intended and actually used the 7:10 am tee time. He mentioned tha he would verify those facts to GOLF NOW. So o would be issued a refund of $52.

Course is in good shape. Greens are super saturated but better than dry and divoted. Overall a great day -

Great old course just needs someone to seed and fix all the dirt fairways and areas around the greens.

Price is a bit high for such poor conditions.

It was a very cold and windy day but clear and sunny. The fairways and greens were in very good condition. Some areas around the greens were recently seeded and grass was sparse. Speed of play was very good; finished in 4 1/2 hrs. New Covid protocol having carts ready with player names on them waiting at pro shop was great idea. Course layout was nice; some flat or tucked along hillside, elevated greens or tee boxes. Worth the drive out to Franklin Canyon.
