Franklin Canyon Golf Course

A contribution to the pace of play would be matching one's handicap to the Teebox location i.e. white, blue, etc.

Unnecessary slow play, no marshal anywhere.

Fivesomes with people walking should not be allowed.

Spread out tee times would help.

Course was in good condition for mid summer. Slow play and bottlenecks have been this course's nemesis in the past, but things seem to be improving somewhat. Well done guys

Staff not polite course dry even though they charge $1 for water. I am also charge an additional dollar even though I slough what the on line says what I owe.

The course is nice ce, a little tough and challenging. The kind of course you play and want to go back and play it again many more times.

Solid course. Interesting that the front nine favors a draw and back favors a fade, is a good mix for shot shaping.

Muni course feel but the greens roll quick and true. Enough trouble to keep it interesting but not too penal. Tucked into a canyon with no homes and minimal street viewing which makes it feel secluded.

Fairly flat course with the exception of a sizeable hill on the 2nd and 13th you need to climb.

Frankie was in great condition after a light summer rain a few days earlier. Well maintained fairways and readable greens should make for an enjoyable round. You get to use all your clubs from the blue tees, but we played whites this time to match the skill of our guests. That said, the wind kicked up after 4 holes, and made for a helluva challenge. A fine track I consider a staple in the lical rotation.

I went as a single and met two other singles.We teed off around 7:00 am and were done in 3 1/2 hours and I walked while my companions each had a cart . I booked with GolfNow and only paid $35 although the guy in pro shop wanted $45 until I showed him the confirmation email from GolfNow.i had not played here in perhaps 12 years but memories of the holes came back as I started each one. The course is a nice layout with no two holes alike . I would give it 6 out of 10 for conditions but for the price was well worth it

Greens were in good shape. Tee boxes need work. Good value, but pace of play is always slow.

The only complaint was getting jacked an additional $2/player over the fee and service charge for "irrigation". All fees need to be articulated beforehand. What's next? a healthcare assessment for the range attendants? I guess FCGC didn't get enough rain this winter...

VERY DIRTY and EXPENSIVE RANGE BALLS. MANAGEMENT SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS?

Great to be back playing, and this is one spot that I like to play. Started off a little slow, tournament went out in front of us, so the front 9 took about 2:45, but the back took only 2. Marshall was out doing his job. Still a little soggy, muddy areas in the fairways, but they were considered ground under repair. Greens were in good shape, rolling well. Great deal on golf now. With all this rain we've had it's going to be a fun year. Couple more weeks and it should be perfect!

The course was in a good condition. The greens were aerated a couple of weeks ago and they were in fair condition. One issue was e has two riders and one walking and Actually golfnow could not accommodate this transaction in one shot so I ended up making two reservations on two different T times. That is a short fall of golfnow that they need to fix. The course staff were accommodating to fix the different T times. Course was heavily booked so the pace was slow. They need to spread out it a bit more.

Played 4/1 at 7:22.

You'd think at 722 that you'd blow through...not so much.

Could be the layout of first four holes (par 5, 3, short 4, 3) but it definitely drags.

The marshals didn't do anything, just drive around.

All things considered the conditions were good, I just the marshals cared about more than sitting in their carts. Waiting on a forsome who has the entire hole ahead of them open...unnecessary.

The course is in the best condition that it has been in a very long time, possibly ever.

The greens are in good shape all the rain has made conditions soft cart paths only (it is way to soft to drive on) . The spring at Franklin Canyon is spectacular very Green! The players that play bomb and gouge are going to loose a lot of balls if you play that way bring plenty of Ammo!

Went out at 0700 and had a fast paced round. Conditions were a bit swampy due to large amounts of rain earlier in the week. Greens aerated recently (last week or so). Lots of Par 3s and 5s.
