Course Is Fine

Don’t know what all the complaining is about. This course is fine. Fairways are lush where you’re supposed to hit it and the greens roll well. Tee boxes could use some work but other than that, it’s fine. It’s a good value and a 4 hour round is nice (teed off at 7:30).

Course conditions

Front nine green were terrible, spike marks , no one repaired ball marks , bumpy ,Fairways could use reseeding, tee boxes were a mess, no grass. Driving range mats are torn up , old range balls.

Booked my time for 10:20, pro shop moved out group to 10:30. Gave our slot to another group!!! My confirmation showed 10:20. Paid green fees upfront. Won’t be golfing at Franklin canyon again. Drove 1 1/4 times play there.

A nice track sadly headed downhill

It hurts to write this as I've been playing Franklin Canyon for many years. The course is in miserable shape from tee to greens.

The owners have been planning to close this course for quite some time and the conditions reflect that. Outside of mowing what little grass there is left, there doesn't seem to be any maintenance goin on at all. The greens are very beat up and don't roll remotely true. No sand in the bunkers and it is hit or miss if you'll even be on grass in the fairway.

It's truly a shame to see this course in the shape it's in as it's a fun track. Right now, I would not recommend this course at any price.

Franklin golf course

The course will be closing soon unfortunately so maintenance is minimal. Greens remain ok but the fairways are pretty beat up. Will continue to pay until they close.
