Shadow Ridge Golf Club

This course has generous fairways in terrific condition & I loved the challenging undulating greens with good speed & strategicly placed bunkers I would play this course daily if I could afford the rates so I will play it when I get a better web site rate!!!!

This course was in amazing shape and invited driver off every tee with the huge fairways. The greens were very fast and tough to hold. A short tee shot will be met with a 200+ yard second shot into a fast undulating green. Stay out of the bunkers as they are extremely punishing. Lots of places to stay refreshed on every other hole. The entrance into the bag drop off area was not clear at all. Just turn at the “grill” sign and head upstairs to the pro shop. Will play again whenever possible.

Expected much better conditions and greater playability.

We were a group of 4, The pace of play was fantastic, the management said they took the pace of play seriously and it showed.

I will definitely play here again.

This course is well designed with some very challenging holes and some rather easy holes with birdie opportunities. We count Shadow Ridge as one of our favorites each time we travel to the area. The play time was almost five hours this time which is far too long. Typically we haven’t had such a slow pace of play. Greens had good pace and overall in good conditions. Fairways excellent. Bunkers not well maintained with lots of unraked bunkers this round.

To start the parking and pro shop location were a little hard to find, but after that hurdle the rest of the experience was excellent. Doug the starter on the valley course was a huge help explaining the course layout and local nuances making the course that much easier to navigate. Every blade of grass seemed to in the right place. Greens as you would expect improved as the morning dew subsided and the round progressed favorably and the pace was less than 4 hours. Never waited. Will play again soon.

Absolutely a golf course to play in Palm Springs! Practice facility is excellent. The course was magnificently groomed and in tournament shape. I loved the layout that was a mix of challenging long holes and really fun short holes that challenged my accuracy. Players of skill level will enjoy themselves.

Great for all skill levels, course was in good condition and pace of play was good. For a high end course, the cart girl service should have been 2X. We couldn’t get a refreshment or snack until hole 8. There are more scenic courses in the area but still a good option.

I play this course once or twice a year. The greens have a lot of contour . For a player playing multiple times a week this would be okay. But for someone that does not know the course a good approach shot can be significantly penalized with an unexpected roll due to the contour

The course was in great shape with firm fairways .

Sand bunkers were well maintained

really good shape, greens very true, medium speed. A fun layout after playing it a few times (figure out where not to hit it), wish there were more deals "in season" as the only times local residents can play for a reasonable rate ($100ish) is in Nov/Apr.

Shadow Ridge is one of our favorite courses in the Desert. In good shape and friendly staff.

Always first class. Practice facility,people,course could not get any better. And with golf now it is a great value.

We play here every trip down and always reminds us what a great course feels like from the moment you step out if you car.

The course is in excellent shape. The greens were like a lush carpet. They are undulating and challenging to read . Booking the tee time was seamless, the staff was friendly and helpful. The Course was busy so pace of play was slow. We only got 16 holes in before it got too dark to continue. Otherwise, it was an excellent outing.

Shadow Ridge is a very nice course, in excellent condition. It has several original holes. The greens were quick, but true. It has one of the better practice areas, a beautiful clubhouse and a well-stocked pro shop. I would play here a lot more often if it wasn't so expensive.

The course is in great shape and every staff member was there to make sure you had a great day on the course, special mention of Jack the starter who is really a morning guy!
