Callippe Preserve Golf Course

Pace of play was absolutely terrible for a Thursday. 6 hrs to play 18 and not once ever seeing a marshall. The tee boxes were covered with divots. Fairways and greens were in decent shape.

Best bang for your buck, hidden gem. If the bridges golf course and poppy ridge had a baby, it would be Callippee.

This course literally had the worst green conditions I have every seen

The greens were punched 3 1/2 weeks ago

But they look and feel like they were punched yesterday.

The fact that this course is not disclosing the fact that greens are in unplayable conditions to patrons says a lot about the poor management

On top of the greens being completely unplayable the round took 6 hours on a Monday early afternoon tee time

Zero Marshalls in site

There was a two group wait on every hole

This is unacceptable anytime but for a Monday 12:30 tee time comeon

I would fire everyone working at this course because the incompetence ranges from green keepers to management

I will never play this course again

This is one of busiest courses in the Bay Area, especially on holidays. Gets really backed up in the afternoon and evenings on weekends and Fridays.

We played this Easter and there was no warden to call when we were backed up for 20 minutes and everyone just figured it out on their own. People started playing random holes at twilight times or just played the first 9 twice.

Overall it’s a really nice course and well maintained. I would say it’s up to pristine condition on most holes. They do start the sprinklers once it hits 7 on the holes.

Fourth cancelled advised proshop told no problem then later charged -BAD BUSINESS!! As first time at course this happened worst was not being advised prior to booking that greens had been punched again BAD BUSINESS! Definitely will not be back here again as such

I don't understand how Callippe sends people out in 10 minute intervals only to have MANY tee boxes stacked up three groups deep. Our round today (Saturday) in perfect weather was 5 hours and 26 minutes. Several groups ahead of us we saw empty holes, but no marshalls the entire round to help.

Such a beautiful location, but never play this course on a weekend if you value your time and sanity.

I love this course, but the pace of play is slow. Waited all day to hit tee shots and approach shots. Would still play here, though tee times every ten minutes back the course up.
