Callippe Preserve Golf Course

To be clear.. the course staff are great … the pro shop and owners used to reflect that attitude. The old staff still there are awesome but the pro shop couldn’t care less about helping the players. Just about charging them and making money off them.

I used to play here a lot more.. now it’s just one of many

2.45 hrs to play 9 holes on a weekday afternoon. No marshals, no urgency to get things moving.

If you can't get a morning tee time, best to avoid Callipe

Overall the course is in great condition Waited every single hole on a midday Monday afternoon.

I’ve always liked playing this course and yesterday was not any different. It’s well maintained and very playable. Greens, fairways are in great shape. My only beef is they are always short on carts. They gave me a cart 5 minutes before tee time. I had to rush to the parking lot for my things. Don’t like being rushed to tee off on the first tee.

After five hours we left on the 15th hole. A five and half hour round should be a crime. These golf courses are purposely over booking tee times. It’s sad that’s what the golf courses have come to.

I often walk this course. It's a challenging walk but you get some reasonably good exercise. A cart is the easier way to go on this course. Make sure you're in decent shape before walking.

Greens are always in great shape and roll true.

Fairways can be so-so to very good to excellent, depending on what time of year you play but they’re so wide it doesn’t really matter.

Front nine is a resort course and back nine is a championship course so be prepared.

Great course and staff. Wish they could adjust the GPS as it's annoying being told that your group is behind pace as you're waiting because of slow play out in front.

Course was packed with tee times closely spaced. Not enough time between tee times. Free players allowed would speed up play. 5 1/2 hours for 18. Ouch!

Good layout. No holes seemed they same and required variety of shots. Greens ok and rolled smooth. Perhaps they are a bit slower than I’d expect. Seems that players of this course actually fix ball marks ( which is nice 😄 )

This is a nice course that is maintained well. Some holes are blind and more challenging than others but that’s golf. The carts help with a virtual map but ideally you can play with someone who has played there before. Tee times are hard to get and some of the staff could be a little more welcoming.
