Callippe preserve
Callippe is one of my favorite tracks to play when I visit the Bay Area! Shot makers course which is usually in great shape…only 4 stars this time because of all of the rain this winter. If it’s your first time there it might seem unforgiving but once you learn the course it’s a fun challenge.
Todd in the pro shop was extremely nice attentive and helpful !
Turkey sandwich was also very good!
Poor pace of play
The golf course is beautiful but the pace of play was terrible. It look 3 hours to play 9 holes. Perhaps there was an event the day I played but I had to cut my round short due to pace of play.
Great course
Loved the course, it is fairly long and narrow so it will test your game. Can’t wait to go back.
USED to LOVE this course…
Pace of play has ruined this golf course. It’s not the fault of the golfers, it’s the management - the course is overbooked. 8 minute gap between tee times is causing 5+ hour rounds no matter the time or day of the week. If you enjoy even a moderate sense of continuity in a round of golf, don’t waste your time here.
You’ll get nothing and like it!
They had a frost delay. We prepaid our round thru GolfNow. We went from 1240 start to 210 start. They knew we had no chance to finish our round but offered nothing. No partial refund. No range token no course credit. NOTHING! Poor policy and service.
Happy New Year
Played this course the New Year morning. Due to the previous night's celebration we just like a lot of people were late to our tee time. They were extremely helpful with fitting me in along side a few walk-on players and my playing partner that decided to wake up after his scheduled tee time. The staff was all around amazing. Due to the weather we may have lost a ball or two in the bunkers with the ridiculous downpour the night before, but overall it wasn't too bad on the course. Wind pushed over a tree on a green, and one green was half flooded, but other than that I had no complaints. Of course they have one of the most frustrating finishing holes in the bay area, but my group had fun.
