Callippe Preserve Golf Course

Pace of play has ruined this golf course. It’s not the fault of the golfers, it’s the management - the course is overbooked. 8 minute gap between tee times is causing 5+ hour rounds no matter the time or day of the week. If you enjoy even a moderate sense of continuity in a round of golf, don’t waste your time here.

They had a frost delay. We prepaid our round thru GolfNow. We went from 1240 start to 210 start. They knew we had no chance to finish our round but offered nothing. No partial refund. No range token no course credit. NOTHING! Poor policy and service.

Despite wet conditions, course played well. Green sweet excellent

Played this course the New Year morning. Due to the previous night's celebration we just like a lot of people were late to our tee time. They were extremely helpful with fitting me in along side a few walk-on players and my playing partner that decided to wake up after his scheduled tee time. The staff was all around amazing. Due to the weather we may have lost a ball or two in the bunkers with the ridiculous downpour the night before, but overall it wasn't too bad on the course. Wind pushed over a tree on a green, and one green was half flooded, but other than that I had no complaints. Of course they have one of the most frustrating finishing holes in the bay area, but my group had fun.

Love playing whenever I get a chance! Great value for money, great challenge, good scenery.. Just gets a little backed up on hole 3 but that's all good!

Lots of water right now the course is draining however this is a El Niño year But I played in it on with no one out there Get your putting ready for lots of hidden breaks. Course has everything

I think the most challenging hole is 17.

Pace was very slow, we started 2pm but we were able to finish only 12 holes. There was no marshal on the course to facilitate the players.

Hands down my favorite place to play in the East Bay because the course is always in great condition. The challenge is that I rarely see a marshall governing pace of play so you can get trapped into a 5+ hour round if stuck behind or with the wrong group.

course was in good shape considering it was winter conditions. Greens were extremely fast and hard to read.

Super friendly staff, course is well kept.

Front nine is fun, back nine is challenging.

Course condition was in good shape . Pace of play could have been much better as there was a LOG JAM on the back nine on hole 14-17 due to VERY slow group causing the jam !! Ot was getting close to dark so I called it after hole 15. GPS never worked and they said it will come on and work just okay a few holes - well that never happened
