Callippe Preserve Golf Course

course was in good shape considering it was winter conditions. Greens were extremely fast and hard to read.

Super friendly staff, course is well kept.

Front nine is fun, back nine is challenging.

Course condition was in good shape . Pace of play could have been much better as there was a LOG JAM on the back nine on hole 14-17 due to VERY slow group causing the jam !! Ot was getting close to dark so I called it after hole 15. GPS never worked and they said it will come on and work just okay a few holes - well that never happened

Callippe is a very tough course. Very slow round. Course isn’t well maintained

I played this course 3 times prior and the pace of play was so slow that I was never able to finish the round of 18.

Fast forward 7 years later and I found myself with some spare time and a fantastic rate from GN for an early morning tee time.

The course was in pretty good shape , has a pretty good layout, maybe a little Yorktown, and the pace of play was okay. I played with 3 other single that were familiar with the course and it still took 4 1/2 hours without any waiting ahead or behind. I think the distance between greens to tees and the hazards on the course lend to the longer round times.

With the early tee time, I finally finished 18 holes at this course. The guys that I played with confirmed that tee times after 9-10 o’clock are 5 1/2 - 6 hours, so plan accordingly.

Got stuck in the middle of a golf tournament for a highschool. Pace was incredibly slow took over 4 hours to play 11 holes not the first time this has happened to me. I would recommend calling and asking the pro shop if there are any events happening because its a waste of time to play if it takes 6 hours to finish.
