Callippe Preserve Golf Course

One of the best public courses in the area and consistently good conditions. Good mix of holes

Very nice layout. Challenging but fair. 17&18 are tough finishing holes. One of the best muni in the Bay area.. Greens are a little bumpy from recent punch but giving another couple of weeks it will be perfect.

The greens gotIt was pretty bad the greens got a raid last week there’s so much of sand and bumpy you cannot hit a straight path I wish I would’ve known this I would’ve never played here today I think it’s important for the golf courses to let the people know the course is still not in a condition to play thank you

GolfNow should advise of punched greens! Would not have booked a tee time knowing the greens were punched 10 days earlier.

Fun course, challenging layout. Lots of holes requiring interesting shots. Will use all the clubs in the bag. Only downside was the greens were punched and sanded. Wait a few weeks to play and the course will be great fun.

the course is beautiful with great views. unfortunately greens were sanded and punched. pace of play was slow. otherwise I would recommend this course.

Great value and the staff is always polite. Kevin the starter is a very pleasant gentleman. Course is in good condition and the pace is great. I played twilight and finished 18 in three hours today. Played this course three times in the last two weeks since I’ve discovered it!

This is a wonderful course tucked back in the hills of Livermore/Pleasanton on an open space preserve. Homes are being built close by to some holes but many are unaffected even by errant shots. Well designed and a great challenge for even the best golfer on good days. I just wish it was closer to home, I’d play it more often.

Front nine is like a resort course and back nine is like a championship course.

Callippe has consistently been one of the best tracks in the East Bay ever since it opened - its a great layout needing a variety of shots, not boring at all with plenty of elevation changes, dog left, dog right, and forced carries - and the conditions at Callippe are always excellent from tee to green. Staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Callippe is also very junior golf friendly. Youth on Course is only $5 here after 2pm! Most recent round here was a 4:00pm tee time and our foursome (me and our three junior golfers) were able to finish 15 holes by 6:45pm (we had to be home by 7:00 for dinner).
