Great course to play but not sure what was going on today

Waiting behind 3 groups on the first par 3 over 5.5 hours for a round

They need a Marshall to speed up play

Rough around the edges

Course was not in great shape. Greens were bumpy, fairways were dried out and spotty, rough was inconsistent, burned out with hard pan in spots. Fantastic layout overshadowed by poorer than normal course conditions. Really disappointing. Hope it improves as Callippe is a great track.

18th got me again

Beautiful morning. Teed off at 6am and finished by 9:30. Darn the 18th hole. Played great until that beast got me again. Another triple. From now on I’m only playing 17 holes. Ha

Great course with nice layout and fast pace of play

We got round in just over 4 hours as a 4 ball but there wasn’t too many others out on the course as they had had a tournament during the day. That’s probably why there were a few more unrepaired divots and pitch marks on the green than I would expect. Rough was fair, only a few lost balls in the group but the course played shorter with the ball running out of fairway on some holes because of the fitness of the fairway.

Country club feel

Great course, front 9 level (ish) back nine mountainous but great condition, quite difficult to play but enjoyable. Long way from greens to next tee and weird layout so walking would be too hard I suspect.

Very good course

Callippe is one of the best muni in the bay area. Great golf course design.. Very good risk/reward holes. Tough finishing holes though. Right now the course condition is very good also.
