Callippe Preserve Golf Course

Course was in good condition. Place of play was a little slow, but it was twilight, so it was to be expected. Greens and fairways were in good shape. A few greens had disease. Sand traps could really use some sand. The pin placements holes from previous days could be smoothed out as they were pretty bumpy to putt over.

Two questionable comments in my opinion were heard at my check-in.

First was with the Pro Shop who said Golf Now rates bokked were with a Cart, but they would not issue a single rider cart for each person. I decided to walk, but the walking rate could not be honored because it was booked through Golf Now. Not that the $20 difference mattered, but it was the first this happened to me since using GolfNow since 2006.

Second was with the Starter. He informed us it was Cart Path Only. We asked about a disabled person flag, to hear his response. Starter replied "Our GM doesn't allow those". Well Callippe, all I can say is I hope you don't get a lawsuit filed against you because of discrimination against a disabled person.

Callippe never disappoints and is by far a top three value course in the Bay Area. Friendly staff, great course conditions and very reasonable bar and food prices. You'll easily pay more for a course that's not nearly half as good. I It's a solid track that never disappoints.

Enjoyed a round at Callippe today, weather was windy and cool but conditions were good and the greens were rolling true. Got to practice hitting into the wind and with the wind which is always helpful. Really enjoy playing this course and highly recommend it to anyone looking to play a challenging course like Cinnabar Hills or Wente Vineyards.

Tee, fairways and greens are in good condition. A few challenging holes. Golf cart with GPS is a bonus.

Just because I wanted to play with the people booked at the same tee time

Very good conditions and great views throughout the course. Big sloping greens require a fair amount of local knowledge. Course has several holes with forced carries.

Fell I’ll day of my tee time yet course insisted on charging me full price for the tee time I booked. Shame!!!!! We’re all doing our part to protect others from any infection right now but Callippe chooses profit over customer. I won’t forget. Consider this customer lost forever. Good luck with that business model.

This course is top notch. Better than Poppy Ridge the price . Greens are perfect!!! Mostly everything is perfect at this course. Go play now!!!

Love the layout and the up and down play to get the ball on the dance floor! A must play with your buddies!
