Callippe Preserve Golf Course

Excellent course layout. Great value for money.. Fun and challenging.

A fair and fun course to play with a pleasant mix of approachable and challenging holes. The course conditions were in fine manner. My only complaint is the practice green nearest the clubhouse. The 3 tiers and sever slope is not indicative of the greens on the course and usability is not conducive for practice.

Had a teetime booked almost 2 weeks in advance the team called me about maybe less than an hour before our tee they were unapologetic to let us know that there was a 2 1/2 hour frostbite delay and that we would potential he be delayed 30 minutes to 2 and a half hours couldn’t answer any questions around whether we should come to the course after already being on our way why didn’t call us anytime sooner would not recommend this course to any golfer Poppy Ridge and Wente vineyards are a better value

Playing during the "winter" season is always challenging. The ball does not fly far and does not roll due to the weather. Today is no different. Heavy rain has made the sand traps pretty much a GUR situation. The greens rolled slow because of water retention in different spots. Cart path only rules was in force for obvious reasons. So walking on muddy fairways made for a wet and sludgy experience. Nevertheless you get your golf fix in everytime you play Callippe for its well known difficult 18th hole to its short but challenging par 4's. Always a good time is had.

Played here in the Pleasanton City Amateur Championship in 2017. Nice shape, pretty challenging, fun course.

The course was amazing today. Greens were perfect and the areas around the troubled spots were nicely shaved. Great time to go.

I really love this course condition is always good and it close to my house but it always slow average 5 hours per round I recommend you walk on this course you’ll wait for every shot on this course if you ride

Wonderful day..The pro shop people were attentive, the starter was funny and welcoming .and the course is in great shape. Wish I could play there more often

It was very warm day and water was not Available on the back nine plus No Marshall on back nine which made for 3 hr nine. This Slow play 5 + hours keeps this course from being the best public course in no cal. Course in very good condition and greens rolling true even with mid day start

Course conditions were just ok. Very spotty in the fairway.. Greens were in decent shape. Don’t understand why it takes 5 1/2 hours to play. Waited almost 20 minutes (3 groups) at the turn. Pace needs to be monitored and enforced. Challenging yet fun layout.

We had a very enjoyable round. The amenities on the course were great . Water stations restrooms. Pace of play was great. We will go back it was nice.

Staff is very friendly. From the pro shop to the starter to the course maintenance crew. Excellent conditions with the exception of the bunkers. Many bunkers had not been raked.

I live in the area and always forget how beautiful and peaceful this round of golf can be. Greens ROLL! Fairways in superb condition. It's target golf for sure which makes it more even when I'm playing with the long hitters. The only problem I had was the sand traps were wet and difficult to play out of. Otherwise worth every penny and I'll be there again soon!!!!

It was my first time playing at this course. There are some challenging holes but since we were not familiar with the course, we were not sure of the distance lay up distance or to cross the scrub. I believed if we do play this course again, scores will be much better.

Perfect day, slow play in Sunday afternoon, but players are nice and keep moving, the course is well maintained, price is reasonable, good course to enjoy.
