Callippe Preserve Golf Course

Staff was horrible and a person in our group said he comes here much less often because of the staff. Back 9 is great but course conditions were notvas good as they used to be. They also removed GPS screens from their carts.

Calippe was in very good condition and being a bit windy and playing from the blues, was a decent challenge!! I still believe Hole 18 is a poorly designed hole that needs to be changed because more often than not it can spoil a good round and whenever I play here I know that no matter how well i'm playing i have to play defensively on 18 and just try to avoid bogey. Redesign this hole and make Calippe a course to remember, instead of a hole to forget.

No beverage cart which was disappointing.

Pace of play was fair for a busy sunday, not really slow and not waiting too long for the group ahead but always in sight on the same hole and no chance of increasing the pace, approx just under 5 hours.

GolfNow is pretty pricey these days, monopolizing the tee time industry, long gone are the days of "discounted green fees".

$95 I feel is a little too pricey for what you're getting at Calippe.

GolfPass & the rewards system is not worth it unless you're retired and can use the "Hot Deals" during the week... I WON'T be renewing.

Overall an enjoyable day with friends though nothing really special about Calippe for the price we paid.

Top notch Muni.. Might be difficult for high handicaps because of some carries.

Course was ok. Decent shape. Just wish the pace of play was better.

Also wish 18 was different.

The weather has been tough on the fairways, but the course is in great shape and the greens in excellent condition. Definitely will be back!

When we got to the tenth tee there were FOUR groups backed up. When I talked with the pro shop they said people stopped for food or whatever but I have NEVER been backed up four deep in the 10th hole. Ridiculous plus the pro was no help at all

…until the last 2 holes. Worst two finishing holes in the Bay Area. I play this course a few times every year and every time I take my double or triple bogeys on 17 and 18 I walk off thinking “I’m never playing this course again”. But 1-16 I always enjoy quite a bit.

Started at 4 pm, back 9 has 5 groups waiting on each other, no marshal and staff to hero to finish the game

It is a nice course balanced with both opportunities and challenges. These features attract me playing again and again.

Love this course. Great and challanging layout. Friendly staff; shout out to Matt in the pro shop. 6:50am tee time and a 5 hour round? Not so great. But still my 2nd favorite course. Play this course!!
