Always fun & challenging!
Tee off early to avoid afternoon winds! Fun and fair course, greens still need some TLC.. Overall I always enjoy RR! Course in nice shape after recent rain.
Find circuit in Oxnard California
Well, that laid out interesting halls with plenty of distance for big hitters and logical par threes
Decent course if deals are available
This is an overall decent oourse if there are not other options available nearby. Unfortunately both courses have taken a few steps down since being managed by American Golf. Both courses used to be much better, particularly the greens. No other options available that day, and got a great deal thru GolfNow, so decent golf is better than no golf!
Over-priced comparatively
River Ridge is an over-priced course. Typically it's maintained terribly, but because of the rain it's actually in ok condition. The company in charge does the bare minimum. And lest we forget, it's in Oxnard CA, and EVERYONE KNOWS that city is half full with second rate citizens and imported scum.
A fun and challenging round
I definitely recommend The Lakes course if you're looking for a round of golf that will test your skills and leave you smiling at the end of the day.
Rip off
Riverridge charged 67 dollars and claimed it was a holiday
My rate should have been 41
The course was completely booked
They made plenty of money not to mention the bar and restaurant
26.00 dollars more on a Monday that is not a holiday!
They can kiss my ———
I will never go back.
They charged more than what golf now quoted me.

I like this course!
I had a great day of golf. I got tee'd up with 3 nice guys from Korea and we had a good time. I even got a Korean pancake :-)
The course is moderately difficult and challenging at the same time. I'm a handicap 18 and I find this course fun to play. I scored a 92 at the blue tee, so that is within my handicap ;-)
I will definitely come back!
Slow Pace of Play
We got to the 4th hole and there were 3 groups ahead of me that hadn’t even teed off yet. It took 45 minutes before we teed off and we left after that hole.
I was told to send an email to the manager and they never responded.
