Just say no
Total goat track. Inner city parking lots are in better shape than the fairways at this dump. There's a sign in the proshop warning of over sanding of the greens but that would be an improvement. The tee boxes are sloped and in terrible condition, the fairways are covered by 5 different types of weeds and the driving range was closed...of course.
In such poor shape I would consider this course one of the few times a golf course should be closed and replaced by a strip mall.
Bottom line,I spent more time on this review than they have on course maintenance.
Extremely slow pace of play.
Understandable to a point, cart paths only due to recent rain, but the Marshalls never addressed the slow groups
No love
I had to pay for 2 people because my friend bailed on me. The wind was gale, and the course was a flooded mud pit so it should’ve been closed in the first place due to bad weather.
I’d understand if it was a nice day and crowded at the course, but no one was there, and I should’ve received a rain check instead of having to pay for my absent friend. I was expecting at least a cart fee waived, but no I had to pay 16 dollars for the cart as well.
We are all humans here. Where did all the love go?
If I were an employee at the course I would’ve loved to help me out in this situation, but they just want the money and for you to go get muddy and cold is not there problem.
Fairways are pretty rough
Greens were good but fairways were thin in many places and there were numerous clumps of grass in the fairways
Staff was great! Enjoyed being in the fresh air.
Painfully slow play yesterday. Got off at 1:20 and quit after over 3 hours on #11.
Winter golf
With the closing of BuenaVentura golf course river ridge has taken up a lot of the slack which has made the course very busy. Slow rounds but a nice day of golf.

Slow
The guys that work in the hut next to the driving range are not nice at all , I asked if anything was open as far as a tee time, he said the cafe Is open, I was taken away a bit as this was my first interaction with anyone that day.. I said that's funny but I would like to golf if I can and this is my first time here one guy said go to the pro shop so I asked were may that be I pointed at a few buildings they looked at me like an idiot I then said again this is my first time here and the old man in the back was nice and told me exactly where I can find the pro shop.
We finally were able to play 18 but was stuck behind a crew of 3 that kept leaving there clubs behind I had to give them there PW 7 times and in all the back and forth waiting for them we were only able to golf 12 holes in all in 5 hours I was unhappy about that and on the 12 th hole I left there club on the green as I had enough and we left.
Nice course but bad attitudes and slow play I would give 2.5 stars out of 5 MHO
Always fun & challenging!
Tee off early to avoid afternoon winds! Fun and fair course, greens still need some TLC.. Overall I always enjoy RR! Course in nice shape after recent rain.
