River Ridge Golf Club - The Vineyard Course

Course was really dried out.

Made for longer drives but hard pan on some fairways.

Greens were slow but fair.

Temp was perfect 70, drive 25 miles east it is over 100.

Always enjoy the winds off the ocean in the afternoon

I have played a couple of times this course and overall it was great. However this last time it was evident that the course needs better maintenance. The greens were in really bad shape.

I have been playing River Ridge courses for 30 years and we are currently very disappointed in the condition of the golf course. The greens are extremely slow and poorly manicured. The holes are not even sharply cut. The surface of the greens is very bumpy the ball rolls inconsistently. The face of play has been horrible the last three or four times playing there. I love this property the people are nice but they need to give back a lot more to this wonderful golf property!

I enjoy Victoria Lakes more than Vineyard.

Challenging enough to get your money's worth, but not too difficult that you're frustrated.

No carts available at check in. We had to walk up the hill to the driving range where we found out the range ball machine was broken. By the time we got a bucket we had 7 min till our tee time. Bad form!

Started right on time, with little pressure from behind, or waiting. Comfortable pace of play (riding). Tee-to-green in good condition. Greens ran true, but slower vs. prior River Ridge experiences. Welcomed by beer/snack cart twice during round. Fair prices. Limited menu, but friendly service at pro shop, on course, 19th hole.

The layout is excellent and has great potential. Staff is friendly. Just not sure why they are not investing more in this course. Areas to consider for spending are, driving range (mats, balls, dividers, landscaping), course lacking yardage markers, decent bathrooms, ball washers, traps in need of maintenance, amenities drinks cart not present, did see a marshal which was nice, parking lot work needed and carts GPS would be great to add. Everything starting to look tired. Group behind us hit up on us even though we were waiting on group in front. Had a nice time notwithstanding these minor disappointments.

With all the rain we just got here the course should've been a lot better then it was the fairways were dry, the tee boxes were over crown greens were inconsistent some fast smoe slow. The price to play there is not worth the condition of the course.

Nice variety of terrain. Good mixup of hole progressions. Other guys in our group were disappointed that we were told to leave after less than three hours to make way for a tournament, and they wished this had been disclosed during their online purchase. Some days are like that but overall it's a fun course.

Fast fairways and slow greens in course prep for a tournament. Great day! A visitor in our group from Boston said he'd definitely play the course again!

I used to play here a lot back in the day. The greens can be wickedly fast but right now they are in great shape and slower, which is nice. The staff is always great. Did not see a beverage cart till the end of my round.

I had forgotten what fun course it is!

The course was better a few moths ago when it was raining a lot , but since then the fairways not too good n the greens were all needed to be trimmed down. The t markers were wrong on some of those holes or doesn’t have a white marker at all. My friends n I won’t be coming back for awhile.
