Dublin Ranch Golf Course

They did a great job repairing the greens, they were horrible. Our group came up with hit it on the green it’s an automatic 2 putt before they repaired the greens, great job.

I have played this course a few times now and this time I got a little luck, got a “hole in one” on no.14! This is my first hole in one ever, so exciting!!

A great course especially if you want to work on par 3’s and iron play. 11 par 3’s. I go out around noon and am pretty much all alone. Great layout. Greens are a little slow and it takes some getting used to. Leave your driver in the car and work on those irons.

Really interesting course with lots of par 3’s with a few par 4’s and a couple of par 5’s. Some of those par 3’s represented a good challenge. I think they had punched the greens recently because they were SLOW and the bunkers were in terrible shape. The starter said the bunkers were going to get worked on and hopefully the greens settle down and will roll faster and truer in a couple of months. I’ll play this again in hopes of that being the case.

Tee boxes good. Fairways 4/5 (ranging from 0-5-5/5) plenty of ground under repair, large areas mind you. Drainage is subpar, course is soaked especially if you start around 7 (fairways, slow greens, soup bunkers)watch your step off grass or you’ll go to the Kaiser down the street. Dries out by the back or by a couple after. Pace of morning play spectacular, didn’t see a soul all day and I was in a 4some with 3 other 12+ H. I’m about a 5. (6:40am start) cart girl showed face once around 14. Round took 4 hours flat. Par 3’s CITY here. Par is like 62 I was 4 over for the day. Great views and for sure one to get in your book if you’re within 30 miles. Houses are not likely to hit either even with a messed up swing, lots of room. Ha

The pace of play was a bit slow even for a Friday afternoon. The tee times are 10min apart and this causes back up and waiting at the next tee several minutes or more. If tee times can be 15min apart might alleviate this problem. I would like the beverage cart to come around more often especially the back nine where I usually have nothing to drink. As a plus I usually have no problem getting a tee time and is the one reason my friends and I play this course. It’s a fun course in my opinion and I do recommend it.
