About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Good for a Weekend round.
Good:
The Starter is friendly and does a great job.
Pace of play is good for a weekend.
The layout of course is nice. The Blue/White tees scorecard is cool. Price is right.
Bad:
Greens are starting to get bumpy. Group of beginners 2 holes ahead of our group slowing everyone down.

Rude
Not that my little 40 bucks nor my opinion will sway anything but it is what it is. I show up for my tee time as a single being joined with other golfers. I ask an simple question do you know who I am playing with or what they have on so I cam introduce myself. I get nothing but a smart remarks.. He said I have checked in 185 people today you think I'm going to remember your group. I'm sorry your alone and understaffed but it's not my fault. I just would like to simple know whom I am playing with. His rude continuous remarks really pushed my buttons. No starter no grill 3 groups for 18 holes on every whole and another group waiting behind you made for a long horrible day of golf. Not to mention there losing the greens again very patchy. I will never play there again. If you like ROCKS in the bunker and greens that your ball bounces on green then have at it. I would not suggest playing here to anyone

Greens suck and everyone plays like its speed golf
People rush you when you’re on the green people rush you when you’re on the Teebox are the greens are ugly hard to read they really need to fix that other than that it’s all right

Green?
Course was in fairly good condition. The greens are patchy and cut so tight it is like putting on an ice rink.

Nasty greens
Gooey wet greens. Pretty sure they spray paint them. Staff at “PRO-BAR” are over worked, but keep a great attitude, and do there best to keep everything rolling while problem solving .

Enjoyable Round of weekend golf.
Very pleasantly surprised with Sunday round of golf. Pace of play was perfect. No waiting and nobody pushing us from behind. Tee box’s were better than average. Fairways and rough were in good condition. The only issues were on the greens. Very fast with holes cut on slopes. Some greens were spotty with dead or diseased patches. Some bumpy patches. Just let them grow out a bit and don’t cut holes on slopes. The greens are very big/ long so pay attention to where the pins are placed. Middle of the green is sometimes far from hole. Overall, one of the best Weekend golf rounds I’ve experienced. Well worth the money!
