About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Would not pay over $25
Horrible greens every single one it was like putting in the desert no lie it was a sad day avoid this course if you can theres no point of even trying to get on the green just to find out you might as well chip it in lol because it's that bad to make a putt in 1 stroke terrible they need to tell everyone before look re they book it not after!
Fairways nice, greens unplayable
Great layout, some interesting holes. Greens were unplayable. Chunks of grass missing, like putting on concrete, 3 were also temporary greens set in the middle of the fairway changing par 5s to par 4s. Very slow pace of play also. Cart girl 8/10
Greens are in terrible shape
The greens are in so bad shape. Two of the greens are so bad that they made a temporary green. I don’t know what’s going on but they need to let the public know and discount the greens fees.

You can tell they are trying to keep this course alive but are falling short on the condition of the greens

Poor greens
There were two holes with temporary greens and many others were in terrible condition.

Stay away
I have golfed here for years. These are the worst conditions I have ever seen it! Go somewhere else until they can find management that knows what they are doing!

In really bad shape
I haven't played here in a long time , it was in really bad shape. 2 of the holes the green was in the fairway. The greens were bad also. Wont be playing here again

Course under construction
I haven't played this course in about 7 months. According to the staff a invasive fungus has messed it up and 3 or 4 holes had relocated the greens to the fairway. 80+% of the greens were torn up and the other 20% were far from good. We didn't know until we got there that there was an issue and had no idea how bad the greens were until we made it to the first green. I really like this course, but i'm not going back until they fix this problem.

Wait for Repairs to be done
Course in bad shape, several greens closed for redo, fairways rough. Major rehab going on it looks like. I recommend waiting for at least 2 months to play here, unless of course you don't mind temporary greens and rough fairways with little grass on them.

Friendly staff, great ammenities, course good
The fairways were in good condition but the greens definitely need some work- dead patches and uneven grass.

Greens are horrendous
I've never written a review before, but feel compelled to after my round today. Avoid Yucaipa, the course is in embarrassing shape. The greens are a joke with either disease or just bad management. The management of the course should feel shame they are charging full price to play this course in the condition it is in. There are far better options in the area.
