About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Great fairways, horrendous putting greens
No warning prior to booking. Greens are absolutely horrible making it near impossible to 1 putt. Most greens have huge areas with no grass at all, some had chunks cut out. And one hole had a large puddle only 3 feet from the pin making. Will not be playing here again.

Rough Greens
The greens were rough today. Overall a great day to play golf.

The greens are in terrible condition. Very patchy and bumpy

Horrible Greens
Greens were unplayable. They should close the place and do a proper repair. Just horrendous to think they charge people 50+ to play this course. Easily one of the worst kept courses I’ve played.

Greens Need to be Fixed
If they fixed the green and cleaned up fairway a little the course would be fine.

Lack of information
Unfortunately I don’t recall any information on Golfnow about Yucaipa punching the greens. I think if I would have I would have made other teetimes at another course. If I missed it on the review my bad. The pro shop did give us $10 off the fees and a $10 certificate for a later play. But the greens were awful just really unplayable. Not what I normally expected From this course that I’ve played many times.

your greens
Your greens were un puttable I understand that you have had a fungus that was attacking your greens but to charge full rate and not put that on your web site was wrong. I was bringing a friend that hadn't played there and he wasn;'t happy with me or you. I dont know if I will come back

EVERY GREEN WAS UNDER HEAVY REPAIR, ALL COVERED IN SAND, SOME CLOSED AND HAD TEMP GREENS. PATHETIC!!!

Yucaipa
I really like this course however it’s greens are rough right now. They already had a fungus that made them bad then they aerated them so they are horrible right now. Hope it’s back to normal soon because I do enjoy the course.

Would not pay over $25
Horrible greens every single one it was like putting in the desert no lie it was a sad day avoid this course if you can theres no point of even trying to get on the green just to find out you might as well chip it in lol because it's that bad to make a putt in 1 stroke terrible they need to tell everyone before look re they book it not after!
Fairways nice, greens unplayable
Great layout, some interesting holes. Greens were unplayable. Chunks of grass missing, like putting on concrete, 3 were also temporary greens set in the middle of the fairway changing par 5s to par 4s. Very slow pace of play also. Cart girl 8/10
Greens are in terrible shape
The greens are in so bad shape. Two of the greens are so bad that they made a temporary green. I don’t know what’s going on but they need to let the public know and discount the greens fees.
