About
Nestled in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains, Yucaipa Valley Golf Club enjoys a stunning backdrop on most of its holes. The beautifully maintained course is certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Yucaipa Valley offers the unique combination of being both challenging and affordable, for this reason it's a local favorite. The layout is player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. It's not terribly formidable but the greens can be challenging because of the slope and speed. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides and the occasional water hazard comes into play. The 13th is the signature hole at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. This tricky par 3 has a severely undulating green bordered by out-of-bounds on the right and water on the left.

Golfer Reviews
Very dry and needs attention
Tee boxes and fairways were in poor condition because they had completely dried out and died off. the greens were also hard and very fast because they had not been watered. we have played this course several times every year and this is the worst we have seen in 10 years. All the area courses are dry this year but this one is extremely run down. With some rain and irrigation you can reseed it and get it back but it will take work.

Nice course. Love playing here. The pace on the back 9vwas awful, though, roughly 20 minutes per hole. I hope management can clean that up, otherwise this a fun place.
Marshall needed
The course is great. Love playing it, but some players need to realize they are playing too slow. 4 people don’t need to all be at one players ball to watch him hit if you can safely go to your ball and set up. Please play ready golf. It’s very frustrating to watch this go on in front of us at every hole. I know it’s not the courses fault but a marshall pushing slow players would take care of this.
Great value!
We booked through Golf Now for $15 per player including cart. Course was nothing fancy but in good shape. Fast greens. Not too difficult of a course but some challenges. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would go back again.
Great place. Great Course!
Always enjoy this course. Excellent service. Great course design. Friendly staff. New carts a d course is in great shape. Highly recommended!!!
It is Yucaipa
Pace of play was a bit slow, 4 some in front and a two some jumped in at 10th. Said they were held up buying their snack...this was a Saturday morning and green fees are there highest and course is still not under control....cannot complain about course because it is close to the only game for miles around anymore....still need to work on fairways, getting more pure dirt areas every week.....we keep our fingers crossed they will continue to improve and most of all stay in business.
It is Yucaipa
Just about the only fair priced track within 15 miles anymore...still too many dirt spots in fairways..bunkers coming along very good...need to support this course all we can or we will have nothing left under $50....short par 4's and par 3's make course fairly easy to keep score down....when and if the fairways are taken care of this will be a great place to play, but it will always be a little slow....
It is Yucaipa
They are getting sand traps in shape, fairways have a lot of bare spots still, greens (except for about 4) are in good shape and speed is good. As always speed of play is in the 4.5 hours stage as so many "Pros" out there are still standing around pretending they are on TV when they reach the greens. Yucaipa draws all the four some bodies that just got to get in position to watch each other putt. I must be the only one that thinks it is ok to hit a putt out of order or even a 40 foot putt with the stick still in while the others are walking up to the green...oh and do not be surprised to see how many guys are pulling their carts up almost on the greens (you will see the ropes taken down and not put back up every time you play......a lot of players still think they are playing Calimesa and respect for the course is out the window.. .
Friday afternoon golf
Fairways were not too bad for a course that doesn't close to overseed. Greens on the front nine were in just fair condition but very, very fast. Both fairways and greens were hard as a rock. Greens on the back nine were in much better condition and much slower. The back nine "ruled" as far as condition goes. Nothing has changed much over the last few years other than a really nice new clubhouse!
Come Play
Rounds can be a little slow at Yucaipa, but this is the only fair priced course left in the Area..Calimesa gone and San Bernardino soon. So everyone needs to support Yucaipa that lives in the Area. Course plays easy if greens are on slow side and pins are in flat areas, fast green and pin placements can up the challenge. Houses around most fairways, some close enough to be of concern to bad drivers...but course is short enough if you play the correct tee boxes for your handicap driver is not needed on to many holes...
WATER,WATER,WATER!!!
This is a beautiful course, but the fairways were being let turn brown for lack of water .We were very upset as we play this track quite often..
Course has looked better but still a decent value.
The front 9 was pretty torn up. Fairways in front of greens were in horrible shape, plus lots of clumpy crab grass type stuff coming up through the greens. They need to stop doing that soccer golf junk, it's doing a lot of damage to the course. The back 9 was in much better shape compared to the front but could still use some work. The course didn't seem like it had been mowed in weeks.
Improving
Hit or miss on mgmt attitude. Mgmt mentality seems that the public is ripping him off. To bad we can't have the old crew, the course would be really nice then. BRING BACK THE BLACK CARD!
