About
Historic Miami Shores Country Club offers a classic 18-hole championship golf course that is the home of a vast array of sub-tropical wildlife and vegetation. The Club has been host to a number of prestigious events including the Florida State Open.
Celebrities such as Bob Hope, Joe DiMaggio, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead and Lee Trevino have graced the lush fairways.
The front nine calls for precise approach shots into small well bunkered, contoured greens. The incoming nine calls for well-placed tee shots.
This Red Laurence designed course offers other amenities like a 120 seat lounge with a panoramic view of the golf course and lighted driving range, six clay tennis courts, three hard courts, swimming pool, extra large men's and ladies' locker rooms and a staff that understands the meaning of service.

This course is a solid, playable public course
I have always enjoyed playing this course. Greens are typically in tremendous shape for a public course. The rest of the course could be spruced up a touch but really is just fine. And they have a very nice driving range. All in all, a nice option.

The greens are very well maintained and fast. and The course is well maintained overall. The tee areas could be better maintained with a more frequent clean up of the garbage cans and the restrooms on the course need to be redone or updated. Friendly crew and nice neighborhood.

Greens were amazing! Staff was great. We got rained on tand the staff in the cart service and bar were awesome!
First time here
I thought the course was very nice, although the layout was a little odd. For example there’s quite a long trek from the 7th to 8th hole and a few holes on the back 9 also. However there was good signage directing you to the next hole. Overall I enjoyed the round and would definitely play here again.
Favorite course so far
1st time playing here. The location is beautiful, as is the design and layout of the course. The we're very friendly and open. Fairways and greens are pristine. Got paired up with a great group, and pretty much I cant wait for my next round there. I haven't been around to that many courses, but this definitely jumped up.
