About
Teal Bend Golf Club runs alongside the Sacramento River, enjoying a lush landscape covered in natural wetlands. One of the characteristics the course is known for is its stunning scenery, which works against the challenging layout by being almost too distracting. All of your attention will have to be focused on successfully maneuvering past the mature trees and natural rough areas that sit along the edges of the undulating greens and narrow, winding fairways. Long hitters will enjoy this golf course, which stretches to 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are also some interesting risk/reward holes that will appeal to both low and high handicappers, which is why it is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The well maintained driving range is also a popular feature at Teal Bend Golf Club.

Winter is here
Love this course but winter is clearly here. No rough, spots of mud, fairways are dormant and grass is sparse. Need to hit it down the absolute middle of the ball will easily bounce/run off into the hazards without any rough. Greens are still in great shape despite nobody fixing ball marks.
Great greens
Played in we conditions. The greens are amazing for winter golf. Fairways were as good as any course in the greater Sacramento area.
Great Course - Amazing Value!
This course is a little out of the way, but well worth the drive! Laid out on a huge space and definitely one to have a cart, which is included with your fees. Call in a food order at the 8th hole to pick up from the clubhouse at the turn and the food was good. Friendly staff - had a little ‘talking to from the Marshall because one of our foursome was sharing clubs as it was his first time Ever golfing and we tried explaining but the Marshall didn’t want to hear it… even though we were waiting on two parties ahead of us!
Overall a great experience!

For December you can't ask for much else. No bare spots to be found, even though the Bermuda was turning brown. Just happened to be behind a slow group.

All the courses managed by the Wilson Golf management are consistent and very well maintained. I play at Turkey Creek, Empire Ranch and Catta Verdera and I'm always impressed with staff and course conditions.
Great course layout
This is one of my favorite courses in the Sacramento area. Great location and design. The course is in good
condition and the greens are well maintained.
Pace of play is important
Unfortunately, during this outing, we waited to hit on all eighteen holes including the par 5s. The course needs to consider either spacing the tee times out or employing active player assistance to find and resolve the slow play offenders. It took our group of three five hours to complete 18 holes of play.
Always fun
The course was in good shape. The grades were unusually fast and pin positions were very tough. Overall a fun round played with a twosome and another single. Very enjoyable company a nice role in park. It was really unusual the amount of ladybugs that were all over the course tons of thousands everywhere you went always in your face, was very odd. Overall, I will, of course be back I love the course.
First time there had a great time. Will be back again with the family and bring some of my friends
