Waterchase Golf Course
About
Bring your best game to the Links at Waterchase--a long, difficult course that can be had if you get your mind right. Intimidating because of its length (7,304 yards), much of the extra yardage comes from five excruciatingly long par 5s. The key here is to manage these holes, get on the green or close in three, then do what you have to do for your pars.
If you play regularly at a local par 3 course, you might want to work in a practice round before taking on The Links, since there’s five par 3s.
Watch out for the enders on each side, which frame the scenic pond and waterfall that are sandwiched between the two greens. No. 9 is a 433-yard par 4, and requires a solid drive on the left side. Pay attention to the pin placement, as there is water behind the green. No. 18 goes 570 yards from the tips, and offers target golf at its best. You’ll need to lay up at least 120 yards from the hole, and keep the approach below the pin to assure yourself of an uphill putt.
Getting there : Located on the east side of Fort Worth at I-30 and Eastchase Pkwy. Take the Eastchase exit and drive north to John T. White Rd. Turn right and drive a short distance, then take the first right on Randoll Mill Rd. Turn left on Creek Run Rd.

Outstanding Golf Course
I haven't played this course in a while. And oh how I have been missing out. This course is in outstanding condition. Green fees are very fair for the condition the courses in they could charge more. Outstanding job grounds team and management. And surprisingly I got a very nice welcome from the snack bar attendant very pleasant very welcoming great job.
Best course in DFW and it’s not even close.
I’ve played many, many golf courses in the DFW area, many of which were more expensive than Waterchase. In my opinion, none of them compare to this course. The complexity, the beautiful conditions, the friendly staff… Waterchase offers everything you want in a golf course. My only critique would be that a few of the bunkers could use a little TLC, but I also golfed after very heavy rains. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are all immaculate. The views and hazards are outstanding. I can’t wait to play again.
Great course
Was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course. It is challenging and alot of fun to play
Great track
Course was in overall good shape. Greens were sanded but very playable. Only complaint was the sprinklers seem to hit the bunkers, very wet. Few were completely unmaintained. All that being said, I would play it again any day!
Hidden Gem
So far this year I've played 10 different courses in the d/fw area. Thus course, by far, is in the best shape. When you arrive the little trailer clubhouse doesn't seem welcoming. It's the exact opposite. The staff were extremely friendly. The clubhouse had everything i needed. As for the course, absolutely beautiful. A couple of greens were extremely fast due to maintenance of the green but i will play here again!
Great course layout
Visiting from Washington state and it is hard to find a course that is in good shape and fun to play. This is both...good shape and a blast to play. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed it so much I'm playing it again tomorrow. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.
Best course in DFW
Title says it all. If you haven’t played here, do yourself a favor and go asap.
In great shape!
This is such a great course, and was in amazing shape this weekend. Staff is friendly! Highly recommend!
Course in great shape for late March
This is a very fun and challenging course to play. Staff was very nice, cart girl passed by every few holes. Some holes are cart path only, and not always posted well. Tee boxes were in good shape, but not always flat.
Beautiful course
Love the course just wasn’t very happy about being stuck behind a group of like 10 people recording “YouTube content” the entire day
Golfer Beware of Watwrchase
Played with three golfing buddies on 3/1/25. We had called and booked 7 days in advance. We golf here all the time....until now! You'd think they would tell us of the impending cost increase on the day we booked? Na!
It was a beautiful spring day in North Texas...since only three of us were playing, wife decided she wanted to ride along. At check-in... was told it would be $30 for the "rider". What? Why does it cost $30 for a rider? We already need the 2 carts with 3 golfers. Also beware....you'll spend 5 hours out there on a Saturday/Sunday. Bunkers i looked at had no sand...just dirt and not kept up at all.
Tried to upload a picture, but this site was not cooperating with that.
Beware…….Not a Premium Course, Falling apart!
Our group plays here a lot. That is until today. We called and booked our tee time 7 days in advance. They did not mention to us that they intended to raise the price the day we played to $80. This course, while maybe in the past might have been worth that, it certainty is not for the conditions it’s in. Only 3 of our group could play on 3/1….so my wife decided she wanted to ride along as it’s a beautiful day in North Texas. They charged me $30 for her to ride. I’m not kidding you! Why does a rider costs $30? We had to have 2 carts anyway since there were 3 golfers in our group and no one else was booked with us.
No sand in the bunkers on the course. Greens are all beat up and you’ll spend 5 hours out there. Posted a bunker picture.
Just Beware.
