Waterchase Golf Course
About
Bring your best game to the Links at Waterchase--a long, difficult course that can be had if you get your mind right. Intimidating because of its length (7,304 yards), much of the extra yardage comes from five excruciatingly long par 5s. The key here is to manage these holes, get on the green or close in three, then do what you have to do for your pars.
If you play regularly at a local par 3 course, you might want to work in a practice round before taking on The Links, since there’s five par 3s.
Watch out for the enders on each side, which frame the scenic pond and waterfall that are sandwiched between the two greens. No. 9 is a 433-yard par 4, and requires a solid drive on the left side. Pay attention to the pin placement, as there is water behind the green. No. 18 goes 570 yards from the tips, and offers target golf at its best. You’ll need to lay up at least 120 yards from the hole, and keep the approach below the pin to assure yourself of an uphill putt.
Getting there : Located on the east side of Fort Worth at I-30 and Eastchase Pkwy. Take the Eastchase exit and drive north to John T. White Rd. Turn right and drive a short distance, then take the first right on Randoll Mill Rd. Turn left on Creek Run Rd.

Nice course
The golf now price is not what they charge you, they charge more when you get there. Cart girl came around once the whole 18 holes. The course is nice, greens are rough covered in sand. Not worth the price.
Course in great shape
The golf course and especially the greens were in great shape. Staff is always friendly as usual.
Great course
Have seen this course hundreds of times off I30 and never took the time to play it. Great course and would play again.
Best course in DFW
Course was in great condition pace was incredible Best course in DFW.
Clubhouse Manager and Course are Excellent
Great greens
The course is in fantastic shape beautiful fairways, the best greens I have ever seen. This course is a must play!
Get rid of your starter on hole 1. Guy is a tool.
Had a great time! Fun course. Great condition. But the guy they have as the starter on home 1 is a clown. This course doesn’t need a starter. I’d eliminate him immediately.
Very nice course
The course was beautiful. It was tough been golfing a few months and I clearly shouldn’t have been out there. Would say it’s for better more seasoned players.
Great Course with friendly staff…
Great course with friendly staff. Easy to get lost in the course. I recommend to anyone looking for a fun challenging course in Fort Worth.
Summer Round
Front nine went fine time wise. Back 9 was horrible waiting on virtually every hole. Almost 2:45 min. On back 9. No Marshall in sight. Probably an hour on last 4 holes
Top Public Course in DFW
Amazing course with amazing conditions. I have played many, even most, of the well-regarded public courses around DFW. This was my first time at Waterchase, and I can confidently say it has one of, if not the best, conditioning of any course around town. Played day after a major storm system, and still course was in perfect shape. Fairways were carpet and greens were true. Greens were firm and fast, but not too fast. They made for a great challenge.
Overall, layout is great and interesting. No two holes are alike. There is a mix of links style and parkland style hikes. Hole 5 gets a lot of press, but I didn’t mind it though it was clearly shoe-horned into the layout. Back 9 has three par 5s including two extremely long par 5s that played more like par 5.5 each.
Hole 18 could be improved is my only suggestion. After a great drive, I had to layup in front of a creek and heavy rough catchment zone guarding the elevated green, only to be rewarded with a challenging 6 iron shot onto a small, multi-tier green. I think it would be more interesting to turn the rough at the base of the green into shorter grass and let golfers choose between a long shot over a hazard without much elevation or to challenge the green with risk of having to lob up onto a very elevated green.
Loved playing here and will be back. I can’t think of many courses with superior conditioning and certainly not at the price point offered by this course.
INCREDIBLE
From course conditions to the cost, this course is worth every penny. An amazing setup that would make even some of the best course look bad. The round was one I’ll never forget and I will definitely be back to play it again.
Beautiful Course!
Beautiful course that’s very well laid out. Loved all the creeks and water. The bridges are plenty and add to the flavor. Highly recommend this course. It’s a must play!
