Waterchase Golf Course
About
Bring your best game to the Links at Waterchase--a long, difficult course that can be had if you get your mind right. Intimidating because of its length (7,304 yards), much of the extra yardage comes from five excruciatingly long par 5s. The key here is to manage these holes, get on the green or close in three, then do what you have to do for your pars.
If you play regularly at a local par 3 course, you might want to work in a practice round before taking on The Links, since there’s five par 3s.
Watch out for the enders on each side, which frame the scenic pond and waterfall that are sandwiched between the two greens. No. 9 is a 433-yard par 4, and requires a solid drive on the left side. Pay attention to the pin placement, as there is water behind the green. No. 18 goes 570 yards from the tips, and offers target golf at its best. You’ll need to lay up at least 120 yards from the hole, and keep the approach below the pin to assure yourself of an uphill putt.
Getting there : Located on the east side of Fort Worth at I-30 and Eastchase Pkwy. Take the Eastchase exit and drive north to John T. White Rd. Turn right and drive a short distance, then take the first right on Randoll Mill Rd. Turn left on Creek Run Rd.

Great track. Course is in very good condition.
Waterchase is a challenging course. It is more of a challenge if you don’t know where to try and hit the ball. The sand traps were not in good shape. Other than that it was worth the value. I will play it again.
Worth the trip
In town for a conference and decided to try this course based on community feedback. Definitely the right choice. Course can play long or short and it’s pretty challenging with some blind shots. The greens and fairways were great (actually pulled up to one hole and thought the fairway was an adjoining green). The bunkers will get no reviews because I didn’t hit any but the looked playable despite the heavy rain on the day prior. The staff was very friendly and got me out quickly as a walk-on. The carts were in good shape with GPS and other media options (USB charger as well). Now the obligatory negative nitpicking: the course needs to ad ball washers (on the carts and the tee boxes. I don’t recall seeing one all day. Also sand for the tee boxes. Having said that, this course was great and I would recommend it to anyone.
Great layout
I’ve played here many time and it is great. Great layout and course conditions are always really good.
Great course
Great public course. Challenging layout if you have never played it before. Will be back.
Nice track. Marginally difficult!
Course and greens in good shape. The par5s are long!!! Ample opportunities to loose a ball in water hazards of which there are many! I’ll play this course again.
Great course, crazy hard in 20+ mph winds
Waterchase has always been a very good course. You can generally count on good, fast greens, good turf, and challenging water hazards and bunkers. Saturday was even harder with winds that got over 20mph. Pace was slow due to a foursome that did a lot more practice swinging than playing. Course was in good shape. Clubhouse is still a trailer and now the range is limited because they don't own it. Go for the golf and challenge of a tough course, ignore the other stuff.
Great course, but the range is atrocious and your round does not come with range balls as advertised.
Everything great but pace of play
I’ve played Waterchase a handful of times over the past few years. Course conditions are always great from tee boxes to greens. 4/5/24 was our day of play. Greens were sanded somewhat recently but rolled really well. Tee boxes were really good, and fairways were excellent. This is a top notch course and I wouldn’t hesitate to play here again. Our only issue was the pace of play. This was the first time I have had an issue here. We finished 9 holes in 2hr 45 minutes. Way too long. Our tee time was 11:20 on a Friday. There was a Marshall there but he didn’t seem like the overly assertive type. We had to call it after 15 holes due to other engagements. As we drove back up to the clubhouse we noticed there was an extremely slow threesome a few groups ahead that was the real problem. Get things moving along better Waterchase. You’re too good a club for this to happen.

Great layout and great condition
Enjoyed every aspect of my round on this course. Good, challenging layout. Course was well-maintained and greens were in excellent condition for the time of year. Pace of play was fine.
Chasing the water!
Excellent conditions. Interesting layout with water in play on 12/18 holes. Sand traps were the only part of the course that was severely lacking. Very little sand if any at all in the numerous traps. Otherwise a very nice track, very green, excellent greens with no blemishes or undesirable grasses. I’ll enjoy playing the TX two-man scramble/shamble event here next week
Waterchase - hidden gem in DFW
Waterchase is a great course especially for what they charge. Range balls are included but hitting directly into the morning sun you can’t watch your ball flight.
The greens were excellent and fast. Some traps were very good while others had half an inch of sand.
Lots of water on the course so bring plenty of balls or play conservatively as it requires great course management.
Brown
The course is very dry and brown. It was the most fun layout I have ever played but I just don’t recommend playing it this time of year when the whole course is brown. The only thing that is green are the greens.
Fun track....
Slow and fairways still brown but greens in decent shape considering it's February. Fun layout bet it's greatest when things are greener. Traps well maintained BUT not nearly enough depth to sand. Overall great experience!
BEST COURSE IN ARLINGTON!
I cannot believe I’ve never played here before! What a fantastic experience this was. Beautiful greens, link style fairways in immaculate conditions. And we were like 30 minutes late and the staff there were absolutely wonderful and accommodating and let us go in right through. I will most certainly BE BACK 👍👍🔥🔥 (Redi)
