Waterchase Golf Course

You will not find another golf course in DFW if amazing greens & fairways, course layout mean anything to you. My first time playing this place, mad that I haven’t been here 50 more times. Great experience all around, and I’ll be back very soon.

This has become my favorite course in the metroplex. As of 6/25/23, the greens are in perfect condition. Maybe the best I’ve ever played on. Some bunkers need work, but I think I only saw one on #15 that was unplayable. My knock on the course in the past has been pace of play, but four of us made it around in 4:10. Not sure if the course made a change or if the 110 degree heat kept people away. Either way, it was a delightful round.

Best conditions for the money in TX. Will definitely be back.

We played 3 holes with a score until the lightning struck so close I flinched on my shot. Then the managers gave me a raincheck for $44 on a $71 tee time through golf now.. You do the math...not an establishment I'll deal with again

Even though it was hot outside, Waterchase didn't disappoint. Fantastic conditions! If you are picky, the bunkers could have been better. However, fairways and greens were awesome. Would highly recommend.

We teed off at 318

With weather rolling in several groups ahead of us called it quits early. However we still didn't finish our round until 8pm

Almost 5 hours is so slow. Especially with the group in front of us playing so slow. On the 18th hole we waited almost 20 mins for them to tee off and hit their approach shots. And then spent another 20 mins on the green. With no staff in sight policing them the finish up.

It's unfortunate because the course itself is beautiful. Just rough that we took so long to complete a round

Forest time to play this course and I thought it was great! Excellent conditions for fairways and greens. My only complaint was the pace of play. We teed off at 4:00 pm in June in Texas. Should have been plenty of time to finish the round. I was in a foursome that each player was probably between 10-25 handicap. Foursome in front of us was two couples ( men’s and ladies tees each time). Not sure who might have been in front of them. We played 4-1/2 hours until they required us to return the carts and only got through hole 15! It was really disappointing!

Otherwise a very nice course in great conditions.

This course was awesome! All of the greens and fairways were in great shape and the pace of play was excellent! This course provides a ton of challenging shots which I think adds to the course’s appeal! All of the staff and amenities were good and even had the cart girl pass us three times which for some of the courses in Fort Worth would be a miracle to even see them twice. Definitely one of my favorite courses in DFW.

Great greens - the best in the area right now from what I have seen. Fairways are solid and firm. Fun layout with 2 or 3 very demanding holes. I thought bunkers were just fine, but I only encountered two of them. Pace can be an issue here because of the difficulty of the layout, a few holes CPO, and some people just play the wrong tees A marshal on course would be appreciated by those of us who know the game. Staff here are friendly but can sometimes be a little confusing.

Go play here if you want great conditions, no houses, solid layout and don't mind a 5 hour round. Did I mention the great greens?!

First off... this course was amazing for the money. The fairways and greens were really good shape. Also caught it on a low wind day. Good sized fairways. Also, no houses to worry about... always a plus to me. My only complaint about this course was the bunkers. they were very firm and rocky. If they fix that the course would be one the best in the area. Will definitely be back. I didn't have a best round for my first time, but I will definitely be back. Also, they had free pizza at the turn which was awesome.

Nice layout and in great condition. Although got stuck behind a slow group playing a 5 hour round. Still will play again.

Solid course, needs some maintenance and attention though to get it back to looking good. Also a Marshall on the course would be nice, 2somes slowing down everyone.

The course was in good shape. Friendly staff. Carts had very slow acceleration and speed but had gps and bluetooth speakers built into them. Pace of play was horrendous. Waited several minutes at each tee for the group in front to even tee off, while the group behind was doing the same for us. Was told the issue was due to a tournament that morning screwing up the pace. Overall, the layout and condition was solid.

Course was difficult. Greens and fairways were in amazing condition. Staff was awesome. Pace of play i have a 4 on, but not due to the course i think it was just a group of friends have a good time. Not the costs fault. Amazing time overtake and i will be back.

Many reviews talk of slow play. That was definitely the case for us. Painfully slow. Especially for a Monday. I imagine the weekend is worse. Also, no beverage cart. That was disappointing.

As far as the course itself, very nice. Conditions were great. Layout is great. Can be a little tricky, but still fair.

If you can tolerate slow play, then I highly recommend playing the course.
