Wildhawk Golf Club

We had a good time. The greens were a bit inconsistent, but it was late in the day. I think that had something to do with it.

We flew through the course in about 3 hours. Great round!

Great course, tests your skills on every shot. Nice fellow golfers on the course. Employees professional and courteous. Will incorporate this course into the circuit of courses played on a regular basis.

Wonderful say on the course. All day I heard comments from our foursome about how great the greens were rolling. 8:00 am and they were fast and smooth.

I was in Sacramento for a quick weekend of golf with my cousin, and Wildhawk was one of the two courses we’ve played. This is my cousins “home course” and I see why. This was an absolute blast to play, and overall was in great condition. The pace of play was perhaps a *tad* slow as the group in front of us could have done a bit better job of playing “ready golf”, but ultimately our round really finished in reasonable time. Nothing at all that would deter me from playing again, and the ranger was often present to ensure the pace was maintained. Will definitely play this course again when I’m back.

Today. The greens rolled true and were consistent from hole to hole. The pace of play was excellent we finished 18 holes in 3hrs and 55min. It was nice to have water to clean our golf balls.

Great course! I’m unsure if the players today were not great or if they scheduled too many people but it took my friends and I 5 and a half hours to finish our round. Waited 5-10 minutes at every hole. This is not a regular occurrence.

The staff and starter warned us about the threesome in front of us. We rapidly caught up to them and it was obvious they knew little about golf and even less about golf etiquette. That made for some agonizing and almost intolerable holes for us on the front nine. Just before the turn, the marshal showed up and we explained what we were seeing. He zoomed off, checked into the situation, checked back with us and let us know that he was talking to the terrible threesome and trying to move them along. That helped a little bit;--still had to dodge their "drives" on opposing fairways--but resulted in a reasonably nice round of golf. Good job by the marshal and nice to see empathy from the Wildhawk staff. Still a few oddly latent punch marks on some greens, but they seemed to be getting into great shape. Kudos to the the Wildhawk staff.

Awesome course windy conditions 3-clubs made course more difficult to score low.

Very nice golf course excellent maintained fairways greens and tee boxes. I wish the price was a little less for regular play.
