About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Fun course
This was a fun course to play and it helped playing with partners that knew the idiosyncrasies of the course like Hole 18 and the hidden creek that crosses the fairway at 240 from the blue tee boxes.
Fun Afternoon
Course was challenging and fair. Fairways were in great shape and the greens rolled true. Very enjoyable
Water
Always enjoy playing Wildhawk. Pandemic golf has to be a difficult time for course operations, but basic maintenance like level tees, bumpy unrolled greens and over watered approach areas could be addressed to bring this gem back to its former glory.
Course conditions
It was obvious that the greens had just been healed from the aerification. Certain areas had been over watered and soggy.
Overall, the course played well. I would recommend rotating tee markers as some of the tee boxes were worn out.
Wildhawk
Greens had just been punched about a week previous, but, were coming along nicely. Wide fairways that are in good shape. Very forgiving layout. 18 is well designed and presents a challenge and was fun to play. Will definitely be going back!!
Wild Putt
Excellent place to play golf, has a driving range and practice putting greens.
The greens were recently aerified...they will be back to normal in 1-2 weeks hopefully.
Overall, this is my favorite golf course in the Sacramento area. The staff are all friendly!!!
Review
Greens were slow and tee boxes were terrible and a lot of the holes not level??? Makes no sense. I expect more for 52.00. Not worth the money
Friendly course
Friendly course for all levels. Staff accommodating. Layout doesn’t flow great as far as where one hole ends & another begins. Requires more walking than most courses because of that. That may bother some. I enjoy walking & thought it was a pretty course.
Gem of a course
Arguably one of the most fun courses in Sacramento. Fairways are wide and well maintained. Layout is not too bad, although I always manage to make a mess of #18 (which IMO is the hardest hole in the course).
Staff is very friendly and facilities are great. Indulge yourself in a breakfast burrito at the grill if you can. Its solid.
Fun Course to Play
Fun course with a good mix of holes, some easy some harder... Just aim at the stripped poles and you will be good to go...
