Wildhawk Golf Club

The place seemed pretty crowded, but the pace of play was good. The threesome in front us played fast even though not good golfers. Very little waiting on the tee.

The staff was friendly and they are following all the COVID safety precautions.

Driving range was mats only and a little crowded.

The course was decent. Fairways were in good shape for mid summer and the greens were soft enough that most of my approach shots stop right next to my ball mark. The layout is only somewhat challenging. It is a good course to shoot low and build some confidence. You would have to try hard to lose a ball on this course.

The tee boxes however were horrible. Unlevel and chewed up. I was teeing back almost the full two club lengths allowed and still had problems finding a distance spot.

I was playing a tournament and it was over an hour drive for me. I have to pass too many great course to get to Wildhawk so probably won’t be back except for tournaments. If you are closer it is a good deal.

Greens are in Great shape, Fairways and tee boxes as well. Sand traps could use a lot of work but most courses are that way right now during COVID.

The Staff was courteous. Most of the tee-boxes need leveling. The greens were slow and untrue needing cutting and rolling. The fairways were in good shape the cuts were done well. After playing the course several times the greens can be found in varied conditions depending on when you are playing. Overall, a good round at the discounted rate..

although the course was in great shape, many of the greens were in tough shape, so very hard to read.

Played 18 in under 4hrs and the course was in good shape. Bunkers were a little hard but still playable. Will definitely go back if given the opportunity
