About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

Wildhawk in Good condition. Sand traps need work
I would have given the course a total of 5 stars, however, because the sand traps were not really sand, I can only give it 4 to 4.5. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape.
Good day overall
The course was good overall. Booked a hot deal as a single and got paired with nice guys and had a blast. The front nine’s greens were being fertilized which resulted in excess sands but you have to acknowledge that maintenance has to be done, no big prob! Other than that and some dry grass (to be expected for mid-July) the course was in great shape.
Wildhawk experience
The course is pretty wide open on the fairways . I liked that however the greens are inconsistent . Overall worth playing if you get a hot deal from golf now.
Tee boxes.
I think this a pretty nice course for the money. My only is the tee boxes. Almost all of them need to be redone.
A perfect day for o round.
Weather perfect at high high 80’s and well managed course and the play pace. Due to early Spring rain and decrease in the number of golfers, many courses in the area had cut back the maintenance staff and some of the golf courses are deteriorating, but this course is in a very good shape. Really enjoyed the round, getting a good score. Will come back for more before the weather gets took warm.

A Great Spot
My always and only complaint is too many on the course. But.....Love this place. Keep up people!! The staff is great. The food is great. The conditions are perfect right now.
Great shape
The course is in great shape. The bunkers need some work, red clay, gravel, rocks. I guess the trick is stay out of them, overall course is a great value.

Great course, great staff. Paul Hendson runs the best golf course this side of Augusta
I enjoy this course because it is not too difficult and I can play it with my wife and she doesn't get overly stressed!
Another great round! For my father-in-law and me both!
My father-in-law broke 100 for the first time today and I did the same for the second time now...both at Wildhawk! The course was in great condition from tee to green save for a few soggy bunkers. Pace of play was awesome...didn't feel rushed and didn't wait forever on each tee box. It was just right. All the staff was courteous and welcoming. Thanks for a perfect day!
