About
WildHawk Golf Club is a challenging championship layout that is one of Sacramento's most popular public courses. The verdant landscape is dotted with scenic water features, including a cascading waterfall. Water is naturally a prominent presence but the unique shape and positioning of the bunkers also makes the course stand out from other public tracks. The golf course boasts some of the area's best greens as well. The layout has a diverse mix of challenging holes and player friendly elements such as the wide-open fairways on the longer par 4s and par 5s, which makes the golf course accommodating for a range of skill levels. It still requires a fair amount of accuracy though since it can get tight in some spots. WildHawk Golf Club can also be more difficult depending on the wind

I want to play here again!
It was a good time and a struggle!
This was after some rain so it was cart path only! The course was wet and muddy is place! Some traps were flooded! Lots of leaves on the ground!
As a first time player under such conditions I really didn't get to enjoy the course??
Lucky for me that I played well! But it would be much more fun if the course was dry. Take away the wet and have the greens mowed and it would be awesome!
But it is a course that was on my wish list so I am happy to have played there!!

SLOW
Today was an unusually slow day at WildHawk. Hadn’t played for a month, paired with a friendly twosome and finished before dark so still was a nice afternoon. WildHawk is not a good wet season course but was in good condition today. Only bummer, please check out the tee boxes! Tomorrow hopefully it will be closer to 3hours than today’s 5 , yes 5 hours @ WildHawk!
Great course!
Love playing here. Favorite course in Sacramento area. Staff is always friendly and course layout is great. Challenging but forgiving as well. Pace of play was pretty bad today but overall experience was great. Play out here whenever I can
great day for golf
Course was in very good shape, pace of play was great!
Really slow today
Favorite course in the area just really backed up today. Took us 6 hours to finish the round. Other than that this really is my favorite course around here

Fun fun fun
This course was a little to soggy today but layout was challenging, fun and rewarding. High risk high rewards do to a lot of dog left, right and hilly fairways. Great course for long iron game. I recommend this course.
Old Faithful
Course is in ok condition for this time of year. As usual there are spots where sprinklers have caused mud bogs but overall course is in excellent condition. 2 some completed play in 3 1/4 hours waiting on only 2 tees so an enjoyable round of golf.
Wildhawk
Nice course. Only real complaint was the soggy turf which caused a lot of muddy areas and extremely slow greens. Their grounds crew was watering the greens constantly mid-day on a Sunday, which seemed odd.
Fun Course
This is a pretty easy course, especially if you play from the white tees. But there are several challenging holes that require course management skills and executing specific types of shots.
