About
Rowlett’s first course has been laid out over a flat range of pasture, supplemented by 15 acres of lakes and over 1,000 new trees. Designed to be hacker friendly, the lack of mature trees provide an especially generous look and feel, tempting the mid-level handicapper to tee it up from the 7,191 yard tips and go long off the tee. Bent greens are the highlight of the round here–they roll true and provide solid opportunities to snake in a few long putts.
Getting there : Off of I-30 exit Dalrock Rd. and drive north through Hwy. 66. A half-mile past 66 veer left on Princeton, which dead-ends at Liberty Grove. Turn right into the Waterview division and take Waterview Pkwy. to the clubhouse

Favorite Local Course
If you live in the Rockwall, Rosye City, Garland, Sachse, or Rowlett area this course is by far the best around. It also is not that expensive. I have never had an issue with the pace of play. Just overall a fun laid back course. Staff is helpful and friendly. Only down fall is there bunkers are awful so stay out of those.
Not what it used to be
This used to be one of my favorite courses to play. It used to have the best greens in the area. The course has not been well maintained The greens rolll slow and not in good shape The greens are better on the back nine than they are on the front nine The practice area for chipping and the practice range are good. I would recommend the course only at a GolfNow hot deal rate of $25 or less.
Course conditions
Overall great time shot 68 from the blues it could have been better but left a few short. Greens were a slow and had to pound the putts to get there. But no complaints that’s golf adapt to the conditions.
Slow
Pace of play very slow due to tournament. I was not told of the tournament at time of booking. Not the friendliest pro shop staff.
Great course
Love this course!! Challenging and fun,hope all greens get better,you guys are working hard for that,keep up the good work!!!
After work round
Decided to get in a few holes after work. Course was clear and moving well. Much better shape than a month ago.
Course is still on the come back.It has improved a lot in the last month.The greens should be great in about a month.
Bad customer service
Booked a foursome through golf now. One of the four was having rotator cuff problems and couldn't make it. Tee time was for a Sunday after 2pm. They charged me the extra green and cart fee for the fourth that couldn't make it. I've been to a hundred courses that would never complain about 3/4 showing up. When I called to ask if that was standard operating procedure I just got a bunch of "I don't know you'll have to contact the GM". I won't be back, I hope losing a customer was worth the 27 dollars to them.
This was at one time a great course. It is mismanaged. No ambassadors to keep play moving along at a normal pace. Greens are diseased and need replacing. Traps are horrible. Fairways need to be punched. City of Rowlett needs to get control of this now.
Great Round
Great Shape for January very fun and enjoyable round.

No carts
The course did not have carts available. I was in a group of 3 so I couldn’t share a cart with another customer. The cart I had lasted 3 holes. I called for another cart and they said none were available. I walked the final 15 holes carrying a heavy cart bag. Don’t own a stand bag. Saw other carts around the course that were abandoned with dead batteries also.
Did see three employees riding around the course but not enough carts for their customers. Never seen anything like this
My tee time was 12:20 pm and not at the end of the day when something like this could possibly happen

Course is currently under repairs, greens have a bunch of patching repair work and their is a large amount of standing water on a few of the fairways. I’m sure the course will be in better shape in the future.
