Executive at Seven Springs Country Club
About
Seven Springs Country Club in New Port Richey offers two golf courses, the Challenger and the Championship. The club conveniently sits just minutes from the scenic Gulf of Mexico beaches and attractions of Tampa Bay. The Challenger Course is an executive-length layout that offers the same challenges as the more demanding Championship Course but on a smaller scale. There are not as many water features on the Challenger but there is a large lake and a meandering creek that comes into play on several holes. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The layout offers a gentler version of the Championship that is more manageable for beginners but it is also a great quick round for more experienced players. It is even gentle enough for juniors to get in some short game practice.

Don’t waste your Monday!!!
First I want to tell you that I I registered for the round on golfnow.com and there was no explanation that on Mondays the course at seven springs closes its championship course and only lets people play on their executive course.
Because there’s no explanation that the championship course is closed when I arrived I was told that my teatime was for the executive course.
Since I was there and I had no chance to get a teatime early enough to beat the heat in Tampa I decided to play the executive course.
This course was absolutely terrible the tea boxes were barely usable the greens were absolutely atrocious not only did they not mention on GolfNow that you cannot play the championship course on Monday and are forced to play the executive course if you wanna play the greens had been punched about three days before we played on Monday.
I would not recommend this course to anyone and Golf now should make sure in the future that all courses that are closed on particular days should be advertised as closed on their website before you select to play it.
I want to tell you that nowhere on golf now was it mentioned that the course was closed on Mondays and you could only play the executive course on Mondays.
Do not waste your time here
Seven Springs Executive Plus
This is one of the best executive course around. Always a go to for sharpening up those irons.
Some new tees in progress.
I have alwas complained about the small tees. They get beat up from a lot of play. They are redoing some of the tees now. Some they are making larger. Over all the course is in good condition.
Great executive course
Love this course , it has its chalenges, in pretty good shape , of course now being low season they are redoing some of the T boxes but that’s to be expected nice fairways and very nice greens ( fast )
Everyone who works there are exceptional also everyone you cross are friendly , ( people who live there and all members always greeted with a smile
We come down 4 months out of the year and play this course at least once a week
Highly Recommend this course
Looking fwd to next year
Seven Springs exec course
Nice facility and great staff. Could use a few more tee signs for directions.
Ricky Rules
Course is a great value for the money. However; the greens were very inconsistent, some being fast and others being slow so putting was an adventure. My partners will definitely play there again.
Course needs a lot of TLC
Tee boxes , greens and fairways need a lot of work.
A bit tight!
Course needs some TLC. It appears that the Champion Course is much better maintained than this one. Greens were beat up and not true throughout. Also, there are plenty of houses/villas so you must be accurate with your shots, challenging for sure but fun. There are some holes with houses on both sides of some very narrow fairways. I do not recommend any beginners at all.
executive course
Nice for seniors. Recommend forward tees for our wives(100yard drives). Worked well. Improved speed of play. Course needs some work. Very bare on tees and fairways.
Poor conditions
Greens were bumpy and tee boxes had no grass. Fairways ran side by side and were too close to each other.
