About
Seven Springs Country Club in New Port Richey offers two golf courses, the Challenger and the Championship. The club conveniently sits just minutes from the scenic Gulf of Mexico beaches and attractions of Tampa Bay. The Challenger Course is an executive-length layout that offers the same challenges as the more demanding Championship Course but on a smaller scale. There are not as many water features on the Challenger but there is a large lake and a meandering creek that comes into play on several holes. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. The layout offers a gentler version of the Championship that is more manageable for beginners but it is also a great quick round for more experienced players. It is even gentle enough for juniors to get in some short game practice.

I haven’t played the course in a few years
They have allowed course to deteriorate. No grass in greens , fairways and tee boxes horrible. Obviously put any money they spend on the championship course and let this one slip away

We like to start off playing at this course as it is shorter but also Challenging

nice little course but greens could use some TLC more bounce then roll hard to get a true alignment on puts
Greens Not Green
The greens were horrible. No overseeding in the fairways so lies were basically hardpan in many areas.

buildings too close to fairways. The rough is really rough, can't find balls.
Ok
Course was a little rough. Played in three hours. Nobody to hold us up. Par threes are a real challenge. Three of us could barely reach the greens. Overall an enjoyable day.
A little rough.
Satisfactory. Unique layout. Alligators didn’t bother us.
