Championship at Seven Springs Country Club

Saturday was the first time I played the course in over 10 years. It did nit disappoint. I forgot how challenging it was. You really have to think your shots, because placement is everything, and water can mess you up. Can't wait ti play it again.

This course is awesome and it will wear your butt out specially in this hot Florida weather that we’re having here in June, welcome to summer in Florida. I had a great time at this course. I find it very challenging. The greens seem to be in great condition as well as the fairways and the tea boxes. The staff was very friendly to all that we had talked to, and especially the groundskeepers. They were exceptionally nice when we passed by them, had a great time and I have planned to play there more. I suggested if you have the endurance for a big course like this if not, maybe wait till winter?

I’ve played this course 5 times or so in the last 6 years. The layout is very good but the course conditions have deteriorated to the point that I won’t be back. The staff is friendly, especially Paul the starter.

When we arrived we learned that they had aerated the day before but that was not apparent on Golf Now when I made reservation. They had also topdressed the greens very heavily which is fine but they did not drag any of the greens that we had played until we were on #17. Most of the fairways, tee boxes and aprons were in rough shape. Having lived in Florida for over twenty years I have learned that if you don’t have your golf course in good shape in May and June you never will because they just go downhill through the summer when the heat and rain take their toll.

Enjoyed my round. Greens are nice. Be back soon if the price is right. Got to lower rates for more frequent rounds.

have played here many times, always a pleasure. the course was in great shape for the most part. they were airing some of the fairways. no big deal. wish they could lower there prices a bit.

Overall an awesome day, excellent course. Had a little cancer on a few of the greens only thing to mention on the downside

I would only recommend this course to a friend only with clarification. It’s been very dry here in Tampa and we haven’t had any rain so many of the courses are not at their best. The greens there were not that good. You can deal with fairways that are not exceptional, but you need to have decent greens in order to play with any positive results.
