TPC Harding Park - Harding Course

Played on a typical December day in San Francisco - temperature was in the high 50’s, overcast and a slight breeze. It did not rain while we played, but it had been raining most of the week prior, so the course was still very wet. They are definitely gearing up for the PGA Championship with extra long rough and super tight fairways, and the greens were even quicker than usual. Overall, the course was very challenging given the conditions, but it was a fun time and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Day was perfect, foursome great, service fantastic, but the course wasn't as it should be, fairway and greens were not in the way as this course deserve.

Great place to play golf, great customer service, the grill was great, course was great, everything was awesome.

Excellent course with friendly staff. Not as challenging as expected other than dealing with the roughs. Fairways and greens are in great condition. Definitely worth the price without a doubt. Will be back for the 2020 PGA Champions.

Course was in great shape. The fairways are now more narrowed with thicker rough to be ready for the 2020 PGA Championship. Practice range was shut down on long term basis, since it looks like they are working on some major renovation on the range for next years event as well.

I would recommend that you do away with teetimes after 330 because it gets way too dark to complete play...

if you are going to continue to offer a 330 teatime or later then discount the price because we were only able to complete 12 holes and we were only a twosome walking.

Have wanted to play this course for some time. The course lived up to my expectations. The fairways had a few brown spots, but overall the course was in great shape. The greens were fast and vin great shape. The pace of play was very good, we didn't have to wait more than a few minutes on a few holes. Diffinetly looking forward to playing agin. Only downer was that the cart fees are the highest I've seen and the cost for my wife to ride along with me was $50.

My first time playing here and it was a great day! They are obviously prepping for the PGA and narrowing the fairways and the conditions were average at best but I had a fantastic time! The layout and the views were great, staff were friendly and the pace of play was excellent. I walked and was very happy to do so, very easy for anyone to do it.

I've driven by TPC HP many times over the years but had never played the course. I very much enjoyed the experience. The course is playing tough at the moment as they are growing in fairways for play at the 2019 PGA Championship, which made for a fun experience. The course is such a great walk, greens and tees are all close to one another.

The layout is very good, amongst the best in the Bay Area. Challenging but fair and really beautiful with the Cypress Trees lining the fairways.

The staff was great when we interacted with them. We had such a nice morning and were lucky to be paired with two similar level golfers who played quick and kept good attitudes! I highly recommend a round here.

Besides the “TPC” name this course has nothing going for it. Staff was rude. Course was not great, I am avid golfer and there many lower price courses that are better. This was for my buddy’s birthday golf outing. Started out with a rude club house associate. OK course but not worth the money. DO NOT PLAY HERE if you are expecting a true TPC caliber course.

Wow...what a great track....the index is probably a bit low at 126.....if you hit every fairway probably....other than that we played off the Blues and had a great day...good luck with the PGA guys...awesome.

Yea when I went the fairway was punched greens were punched and full of sticks and leaves I would say the best part to hit the ball from was the ruff and boy was it thick but if you were on the fairway it was like your ball was in a divot every time you hit the ball The scenery was great but the course was in terrible condition. I wish the course would let you know when the course is under maintenance.

The rate is there already, higher than most other public course. This is okay. But, the pull cart costs $14, and e-cart costs $25. Way too much comparing to other courses. For dining, it is okay for the food is a little more expensive than most other restaurants, and tips of more than 18% are already put in the bill. But how come the tax is on top of that? Shall I pay tax for tipping? More ridiculously, they still ask you for tips (this time it is after tax) before you signature. Obviously they want to be double tipped. Greedy. Greedy. Greedy.

The course (greens and fairway) was aerated few days ago. The wind also created lot of tree debris on the greens. Needless to say, I had much better conditions at Harding in the past. Today was an exception. I recommend waiting until early September to get your money’s worth.

Beautiful and excellent condition all around! This is definitely a must play!

It’s my favorite public golf course in the Bay Area! Compliments to course staff!

not that impressed w the course ... ... driving range was closed, fairways were in poor condition, greens were bad, bunkers were unraked, kitchen closed too early etc ... not worth $144 (119 plus 25 each for cart)
