Herons Glen Golf & Country Club

basically the course is good ...though recently aerated , it did not effect any aspect of the game and greens putted fine ...what made it stand out was the hot deal price 12 dollars !!! for 18 holes ...i have yet to get such a great deal anywhere !!

stuff very friendly, but long ways between the holes, 11 holes played accompanied by a mover, not very funny

Played Heron's Glen four times now and it's become one of my favorite courses in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area. The layout is challenging with some excellent holes. The greens had been punched lately (which is usual for this time of year in Florida) so they weren't great to putt on but you can tell that once they heal they're going to be excellent.

Played with several Heron's Glen members and just wanted to say how very nice they all were. Especially Patty from Boston...she was a pleasure to play with!

Herons Glen is well worth the drive. Nice layout and overall in good condition. The greens were a little slow but were aerated about 3 weeks before. A few of the tee boxes and fairways were in a state of aeration when we played. But, we got this course on a hot deal and were very pleased. Suggest you call the pro shop before for conditions.

Herons Glen is an excellent golf course that is both fair and challenging. All of the par threes have a water carry. The only negative is the closeness of the homes to the course. If you can shut this out, the course is excellent. Definitely a fun course to play.

We were never told greens were airified 48 hours before we played ,un playable greens with a inch of sand on most .The course wanted our money and never told us about the greens prior llow move !

First Time we played there äs magnolia Landing was closed! Nice course with nice Layout.... Sometimes better directions

We were sent out on a shotgun start and thankfullly had a member with us to show us around. Long cart drives between some holes. Course was in pretty good condition.

Tee to green this course is one of the nicest that my wife and I have played in the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral area. Tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens are all in really nice shape. My index is 13 and I played from the #2 tee's which provided a very challenging test of golf. There are some excellent, interesting holes which will require forced carries and target golf. Any price less than $50 is a good bargin.

Course was in great shape. Greens were fast. Fairways were plush. Rough was manageable. Pace of play was good until hole number 4, a par three over water. A group on the green and two groups waiting to tee off. Number 5 was the same until the ranger showed up. He must have talked to the offending party because we were not held up the rest of the round. Thank you Mr. Ranger. Make sure you show up early and take advantage of the wonderful practice facility.

Course was average. Old gas carts and a weird layout. Greens in great shape and very quick. Except for the starter on 10, staff was not friendly at all.

Reception was a bit cool, but that is normal at most private type golf clubs. However after that, the practice area is second to none, great driving range, chipping green, sand trap, and putting green.
Starter was great, we got off exactly on time (0830) and pace of play was very good. After none playing all winter I found the greens extremely fast (awesome) and I will be better on them next time. Course conditions were also second to none, fairways extremely nice, bunkers just great, greens were perfect. Course is not overly long so you can get away with some poor shots. If your lucky to be a guest you get a bit of a price break. Great clothing in pro shop as well.

Great facilities for a round of golf. Price was all inclusive ie. included cart and range balls which was only discovered when we arrived at course. Course was in amazing condition with the bunker sand some of the best I have come across. Bring your iron game as lots of water hazard on the Par 3 holes.

Been here nearly 5 months and best course I have played so far. Tight fairways but fair. Lots of water on par 3"s. Course condition was excellent. Hats off to the groundskeeper and crew.

the best course that I have played in the Fort Myers area this year. tee boxes give golfers of all skill levels an opportunity to play a challenging round. course is in great shape.

Played on a Saturday, 18 hole Scramble very well organized, course was one of the best in the area from tee 2 green. Bring your a game. Tight

My only bad comment would be the greens, while in great shape, were a little slow. Otherwise best course I have played in a long time.
Could use a beverage cart or a half way food house.

Nice spot. However, that day was cart path only, which slowed down everything. We started on the 10th tee which was nowhere near the clubhouse.

This was the best I played her. We were paired up with a wonderful couple from Germany. We enjoyed playing with them and will played her again next year.
