Formerly the site of a rock quarry, the par-36, nine-hole Greynolds Golf Course now shares the landscape with a hardwood hammock and mangrove forest that is one of the most well protected natural areas in northern Miami. The carefully preserved surroundings support an abundance of wildlife including several species of birds and rare, colorful butterflies. The golf course is part of Greynolds Park, which offers scenic camping grounds and numerous nature trails in addition to the golf course. There are also excellent opportunities for kayaking and canoeing thanks to the Oleta River, which runs alongside the east side of the park. Opened in 1964, the golf course has a traditional layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. More advanced players can enjoy a quick round while less experienced golfers can get in some good practice.

Stay away

Terrible greens, and over priced. Spend the extra 30 bucks for a better 18 hole. Stay away

Terrible greens

No greens, just small circle with a flag, the greens are always under maintenance. They should charge half price at least.

Greens are Horrible

course is really unplayable. greens, fairways and tee boxes all have chunks missing. There was 3 or 4 artificial greens which being in the fairway actually rolled better then the greens.

long story short, don't play here especially for $34.

Will be not going back for at least 6 months

Bad condition

This could be a great course, but is not. Need to repair the greens, fairways and traps (they are full of rocks and is impossible to hit from there!). Very expensive for what the course offers.

Poor conditions, low value

Conditions are shameful. The greens that are not being fixed are full of divots, crab grass and sand. The “temporary” greens are fit for a miniature golf course. Overall, a sad experience. The price should be 1/5 of what they are asking.

Not good anymore

This course was amazing about 5 years ago. The fairways are ok, but the greens are the worst I have ever seen on a golf course. Very bad maintenance and management. I paid $13 on golf now and still it wasn’t worth it.

Greens are like a war zone.

Like the title says, Greens are like a war zone. Other than that, not bad for a 9 hole course.

Tee boxes and greens were atrocious

This is normally a decent value track where you can bang out 9 uneventful holes that give you a chance to hit most clubs in the bag. I had not played here in over a year… I was saddened to see that It has deteriorated to the point that I don’t think I will ever come back.

It was a challenge to find a patch of grass to tee off from on the box, in many cases we had to settle for sand. Like teeing off in a bunker. The greens were among the worst I have ever seen anywhere in my 30 years of playing. It was shockingly bad. The image that I’ve uploaded won’t do it justice, it was far worse than it looks.

Walked

Wish I have taken pictures.. There were absolutely no greens... they either had sand no grass or even rough grass, extremely poor maintained greens.

The staff at the front desk was very courteous and helpfull. The maintenance people along the course had no respect with equipment being operated and also where talking to each other very loud regardless if they had players near them or not.

Needs Work

Greens are in the worst shape of any course I've played. They are basically sand and weeds with very little grass. The greens were worked on in the fall so that they were ok for about 2 months but have since gone to crap, just like before those 2 months.

Tees are not flat anywhere. They have a big hump running down the middle of all tees, making it impossible to find a level spot to tee off.

All is well at Greynolds

I always like playing there no matter the conditions.

In fact some of the greens rolled really well.

I’d like to see staff out on the course more often.

Always Fun no matter the course condition

Overall the course is fine. regular players know it’s never perfect, but a great value for the money and the time it takes to play 9 holes.

Some greens are under repair but most are adequate. The staff could get out on the course a little more than they do.

Maybe Miami-Dade has a hiring freeze.? I would recommend that they hire a “ranger”..to get out on the course.
