Country Club of Orange Park

My first time playing the Country Club of Orange Park. It was very challenging! Had a great day the course is in excellent shape.

I Highly recommend playing the CC of Orange Park. The course was in great shape, greens ran true and it is definitely a challenging layout. We had a great round and will come back for sure.

As a former member and big fan of the course, I was disappointed. Played the front nine in great time and then as we made the turn, 2 groups of five had cut in ahead of the twosome in front of us. There was no drink cart, stand at the turn was closed when we made the turn and several water coolers were empty.

Shape and new greens softening up and will take hold midiron shots. Greens rolling true and about 9 on the stimp meter. Play was quick and weather was good overall very enjoyable day.

Greens and bunkers in very good shape. Some strange grass growth around some of the holes and fairways as well as a few dead areas. Overall the course is in good condition and I will return soon. 150 yard stick markers would have helped as I have not played this course in a long time and was unsure of the yardage.

The fairways and greens were in great shape. The greens were fast. The staff was very friendly. It was a very enjoyable day.

Great Course and challenging even for the most experienced golfers

I enjoy this course. It offers long par 5's and par 3's. The par 4's tee boxes (blue) were close to the tips. They were intimidating at times. You had narrow tee shots and across approach shots. The green were super fast. This course puts a mental test on skills.

Course was in pretty good shape for this time of year. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Not a very busy day so pace of play was excellent. Terrific value. Would play again for sure.

1st Time playing here, excellent Staff plus the Course Layout amazing, for the people who loves Fast greens have to give it a try. Some small Gators on 2 holes on the back nines no Danger!! Will go back and play it again ASAP, live in St. Augustine, but it worth the drive!!!

WAS A CROWDED DAY 4 SOME IN FRONT OF US AND IN FRONT OF THEM ECT... RANGER SAYS SOMETHING TO ME ON HOLE 10 WE ARE A HOLE BEHIND, WELL WE WERE WAITING OVER 1/2 OF THE FRONT NINE ON THE TEE BOX AND IN FAIRWAYS, OTHER TIMES THEY WOULD PULL AWAY FOR A HOLE OR 2 AND WE CATCH UP. I PAID MY MONEY I SHOOT DECENT GOLF I DONT WANT TO BE PRESSED FOR TIME. GREEN HARD AS ROCKS NOTHING STICKING TO THOSE GREENS AND LASTLY THE BARTENDER LADY WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST ATTITUDE AND TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS I HAVE SEEN IN A LONGTIME AND I HAD 1 BEER THE WHOLE DAY, WONT GO BACK IN THERE EVER.

The course is in fantastic condition - the only drawback is do not expect to be waived through by the members - regardless of how many holes are open in front of them

Course is in great condition, can be very long and is challenging. Many holes you have to place your tee shot just right or you won't have an angle to the green. Greens are extremely fast but roll true and are a little hard right now as all the greens have been completely redone. To play this course on a weekend for less than $50 bucks is a steal!

Found the course in good condition. Coming out of the winter in fine fiddle. Didn't find the greens to be as fast as others reported. Able to hold them on approaches. Lots of sand and water to be found. For a woman, there are forced carries that I couldn't get over without laying up, even with a good tee shot. Lost a couple of shots due to that. Played on a Tuesday afternoon so good price and played to our pace. Don't get lost going to the 16th hole, it's over the bridge. I would play again if in the area.

The greens are the fastest around and will test your skills.Fairways took a heavy hit from frost but all in all its still a great coarse.

Greens little hard but they putt perfect courses in really good shape for the end of winter

Nice course at a very good price. Staff were very nice. A lot of water makes this course difficult.

Wet conditions caused some issues drizzled and damp but no wait as only ones on the course.

Never thought I'd complain about the Greens being too good, buuuuuuuuut.. lol.. This course closed most of 2014 to Totally redo their Greens & other improvements/etc.. Greens certainly Roll True but are Way Too Fast & HARD for Everyday Recreational Play.. If you drop your putter from just a few inches above, it'll bounce & vibrate!?.. Our Group has 1 Single-Digit Handicapper & 3 Low-Mid Double-Digits Players.. could hardly hold a Green with an approach shot all day.. Most would run or BOUNCE right over/etc.. which would then lead to many/multiple shots coming back/etc etc.. and it wasn't just our group, some holes had 2-3 groups waiting at a tee-box etc so we could see the "everybody was having the Same Experience".. Round took 5hrs & 40 Minutes!?!.. Too Long/Grindy/Hopeless/No Fun for Anybody.. If the Greens can be SOFTENED up a bit, would still be one of best around but a lot more Enjoyable Experience.
