The Country Club of Orange Park provides a scenic challenge with a diverse landscape of protected wetlands and towering oak trees. There is also a bird sanctuary that runs along the entire right side of the first five holes, offering golfers a glimpse of the wildlife that inhabit the golf course including wild turkeys, deer, and osprey. The layout features tree-lined fairways and large greens. The golf course has a more traditional feel with tees and fairways that were cut close to the greens, resulting in a narrow field of play. There is water on 14 holes and bunkers strategically placed around the greens.

Soggy play
enjoyed the layout of the course, friendly staff. I wish the course had been drier the day we played, very soggy, rained the night before. Had to improvise on some tees, just too muddy to hit off of.
Wet and sloppy
Course was EXTREMELY WET!! Course should have been closed and money refunded. Cart path only. First 9 holes took 2.5 hrs. Way too slow.
Fun course but don't play if it has rained recently.
Totally Enjoyable
This is a great course, had fun, no complaints whatsoever.
soaking wet
The course was soaking wet. Cart path only. Not a fun course when it's this wet and you're walking most of it. Very muddy in many areas. Most of the greens were in good condition.
Just ok but greens need work.
Layout is nice but greens are bad. Would play again but it would mean that I couldn't get a tee time on my normal courses.

I play a lot of golf in NE Florida. Played CC of Orange Park for the first time this week and loved it. Maybe my favorite layout in the entire area. Playable but not too easy. This course is now in my top three for NE golf.
MEH! Really slow!
Greens were just ok. Fairways need attention. Best place to hit from was the rough. Sat up nice and played better than fairway.
great course for the time of the year
Except of the greens, the course was in a good shape. it is challenging and has a lot of water hazards. old trees and a nice layout made a nice golfday.

super nice!
course was well maintained. beautiful and tough. lots of water. My only complaint would be their is no map showing the holes. I hit a excellent second shot right down the middle only to see a splash at the end,. hidden water..lol would be nice to know what is on each hole before hitting into it. Well worth playing for sure.
The rain stopped
Thought we were going to get rained out for our 9:24 tee time. Called the pro shop and they said come play because the rain would be gone by 8:45-9:00. Showed up at 9:00am and the rain was gone. Wet play, but had a great time.
enjoyable and playable
had course to ourselves on a Tuesday afternoon, beautiful weather, a few cosmetic issues on a couple of greens but mostly firm fast and smooth, a couple of tees were barren but most were fine, enjoyed the day and play - good value

Great Shape and Pace of Play!
I played in under 3 hours and never had to wait. Course was great except for a few spots on a couple of greens, but the pins were positioned away from those spots.
Challenging
It was a fun course to play and for an amazing price.
Great Time - Best value I've found.
It will be tough to find a better course for the price. The course was in very nice shape with only a couple tee boxes needing attention. The holes are spread out fairly far which is nice. You never feel like the green is on top of the next tee box. It didnt hurt that they had $1 draft beers at the turn (well, maybe it did hurt my golf game...)
Definitely will play here again if the price is right.
grandson got to see some wildlife,6 deer and a hawk fishing
had a great day. course was in excellent shape.played with my wife and we took along are almost 4yr old grandson.we got lucky and there was nobody behind us so we were not rushed.

Pretty nice course, and fun to play. But if I'm going to pay that much to play, I'd rather play a better course.
