Palatka Golf Club

The condition of the tee boxes and greens needs attention. The tee boxes were full of wèeds or not cut properly and the greens were dead and dried out. It made it really hard to putt on the greens trying to determine whether it would roll fast or snail slow. I have been here before in the past and was rather disappointed in the condition of the course. Next time I travel this far to play I will call ahead of time to make sure they have given the course some love before I visit again.

I am a big fan of this course, I love the layout, however in the past few months the conditions have deteriorated badly. The greens are badly blighted and scorched and are in desperate need of real maintenance. The fairways are in ok shape, but the rough is mostly mud sand and dollar weeds. Well struck fairway lies are likely to be punished by divoted and weedy ground. The tee boxes have deteriorated to mostly dirt, sand and scorched grass. I hope, for the sake of this gem of a course that real greens keeping and course maintenance will start soon, because all I am seeing over the past few months is "cutting the grass"

I’m a fan of the course. But the greens are awful. Someone told me the sprinkler system is not working properly. I would check before playing there.

Many greens and tee boxes are in tough shape, but they are definitely working on them and hopefully they will recover.

We enjoyed our round at Palatka! The course is not the nicest, but was fine, especially for the cost. I appreciated the fewer water hazards. All around a good time!

Clear blue skis, 70° and a little wind. Fairways were covered nicely, but greens are deteriorating Not able to putt Just locked him in the room just leave them in there. We thought y’all Harry was gonna do it. He got sick last minute and he didn’t tell anybody that the best solution was put together like ninth grader and there’s a lot of adults overwhelmed. So it happens occasionally because she’s a teacher ha ha ha ha ha ha q Last year Jennifer worked with her. I thought she was in her class. I’m sure I’m sure they’ll get her be more younger. on some of them.

Will try again in the future.

Even though it wasn't the nicest course it was still fun. Not worth the drive from Jacksonville. But probably great for the palatka community.

Fabulous weather for a round at Palatka. Had a twosome and finished in 2:40 even waiting for a foursome for a few holes.

Fairways and most tees were in good shape, but some greens need work. Overall a nice day and place to play for the cost.

Fun challenge! Fairways lush greens a little on slow side but fun to be aggressive.

Got to the tee box 10 minutes before tee time and started informed us someone "snuck" into our spot and we would have to go out with the next twosome in 1 hour..
