Great course
I like the layout. It is long enough and there are plenty of bunkers in play. The greens are in great shape. My only “downer” is the bunker dirt/sand. I don’t know if it’s always like this nor do I know if there is a plan to change it. It’s just different than most golf courses.
Improving
This has been our go to course in Palm Coast since the conditions have improved greatly!
In the past
In the past I have written more than a few reviews of Pine Lakes, they were not good. Well I played it again and what a change. Whomever is taking care of the golf course, awesome job. The greens and fairways were a 9 the bunkers were consistent. It's great to see it looking good again. Keep up the good work. I will be back and I think Arnold is resting a little better knowing what you have done.
Can't wait for new sand!
This is a great and challenging track. It's coming back really nice. The fairways are better than before, and the greens are starting to play very well. As soon as they finish their bunkers repairs and place new sand, it will be looking very good and satisfying to play.
Go play it !
This was our first time to the course, we have lived in the area for years and had never heard great things but today changed that. We arrived at the club and were greeted by the staff while still in the parking lot. They quickly got our names and tee time and provided us a cart and directions to the pro shop. In the shop Jessica was pleasant and got us checked in and some balls for the range. The practice area was very nice with good turf and easy to see yardage markers out to 250 yards.
Once we got our round underway the condition of the course was good. I had read negative posts about the tees and greens, this is certainly not the case anymore. Tees are good and the greens were some of the best I have played recently. This course may have had issues but they have fixed those issues. We enjoyed the entire round and then had a bite to eat and a drink in the clubhouse which has one of the best views for a clubhouse restaurant that you will find. Cannot wait to go back and play again. Great value, great staff and overall a great experience.
Nice Day
My wife and I had a good day playing golf. The green were in better shape than the last time we played. The pace was great and fairways good. We enjoyed our round and will return next week.
Forgotten Relic
Golfers unite,
we have another option in Palm coast. once again.
Pine Lakes, with its new greens keeper, must be added to the courses’ you MUST play
I know it has been way below average in the past..
Forgetaboutit…. THIS COURSE HAS MADE ITS WAY BACK TO PRIMETIME.
I guarantee, it’d you give it one more chance, you will say the same thing
Thank you to the new greenskeeper, I will definitely be playing more out at Pine Lakes
Great comeback
So glad for the ownership that the course has comeback to the present conditions. The biggest improvement was the greens. Also the traps were all raked out and definitely playable. Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful Fall Day for Golf
Got in a quick 3 1/2 hour round. Course conditions were good and the greens were rolling nicely.
Ball placement is always a challenge.
Return from the dead
This course has made some MAJOR strides in fixing its biggest problem… the greens
I would be the first to admit, this course was “stick a fork in it”… they were letting it go downhill fast…
Golfers do yourself a favor and try this course once again, I know you will be pleasantly surprised.
What a difference 6 months makes
Greens are about 90% back to normal, an unbelievable achievement, given where they were.
Keep up the excellent work Pine Lakes.
I love having this course an an option again
Good day
My wife and I had a great time playing this course. We enjoyed the round and the comfortable pace. Price was good. Conditions were ok but better than expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back if the price is right.
Nicely maintained course. The greens have been recovered.
Played there a year ago and the greens were terrible with big patches of dried mud. BUT not anymore. Decent green condition except for a few holes that has extra sand to recover.. Clean fairways and also the roughs are decently cleared. Very playable course. Got a great deal on Golfnow. Check it out. Fun course to play. Only thing to complaint is the lack of marshal patrolling to keep an acceptably pace.
GREAT VALUE
Course was in great shape. Fun but challenging course pace of play was good. We will definitely play here again.
Course
Getting better every week. Constantly seeing the crew working on the course.
Much Improved
Course is in excellent condition. Great job management, groundskeeper and staff! On the way to getting 5 star reviews. Keep up the great work!
Fun course with great layout
Lots of rain lately but course was still in good shape. A couple of holes were impacted by the flooding but the course was well worth the $20 cost which included cart.
Greens much improved
They have finally fixed the greens. They are much improved and roll true. Good course with an awesome layout.
