Bring your A game. Arrived early for breakfast but did the restaurant open at 8:00 AM as stated on the website? No! Had to scramble off site for a quick bite and rush to make tee time. Other than that had a fun round. Starter was very nice!

Be ready for the staff (from the pro shop handing you a slip of paper basically telling you you suck and don’t play slow to the marshal) to talk down to you like you’ve never played a round of golf before in your life. We got pushed to go faster even when we were 1.5 holes in front of the group behind us.

Very nice course and challenging . Pace of play was good also and the staff is really nice!!

Greens were smooth and quick. Fairways, tees, rough all healthy. Great views. Be prepared for some significant slope& elevation changes in the canyons.

One of the best condition public courses in the Bay Area. But very tough course with cliffs/ravines/blind draw shots and elevation change. Get ready to lose a lot of balls if you can’t shape your drives or hit straight.

Arnold Palmer designed course, beautiful scenic view hidden above the Vallejo hills that winds thrrough the Hiddenbrooke development community. Tough challenging course with lots of narrow fairways, elevation changes. Water hazards.

Good pace of play, conditions 8/10 . If you can’t drive straight bring a lot of balls!

Very tough course, a lot of blind shots, tricky greens, no room for error, very little rough and an easy place to loose a lot of balls if you spray your shots.

Course was playing as hard as it possibly can because if you're just a couple yards off line, the rough will eat your ball and you'll never find it... Once they mow it'll be a bit more reasonable!

Greens were almost fully healed from punching, but I'd say in another week they'll be able to mow everywhere and greens will be healed... Conditions are pretty lush so fairways are great right now!

Slow pace is a constant here. No marshalls on the course. It is a pretty tough course so im pretty confused why they make no effort to improve pace of play. Managed to squeeze an 83 out of the day, despite waiting on every.single.shot…….Bridges management, please make a proactive effort to manage the pace of golfers on your course. For example,

- 2-3 marshalls on the course at all times but especially weekends

- actually enforce pace of play rules (ask/warn, force slow groups to allow faster groups to play through, kick slow golfers off of the course)

- offfer refunds for rounds over 5.5 hours

Great course nestled in the San Ramon hills. First time playing here and also right after rain. Some tough holes but the club house was kind enough to let us have a two pager cheat sheet, which helped.

Overall Great experience on and off the course.

Food after the round is wonderful. Hostess who served the food was very pleasant and talkative. Philly cheese steak and a meat burger with garlic fries. Yum.

Would love to go back..

Too much to say, but let’s start with:

-the course does not drain well. It rained 4 days before our round and it was a disaster.

- cart path only - fine, but NO PUSH CARTS? What kind of idiocy is this?

- we had a single added to our group. He was on the tee 20min early and - since it was so wet - there were no groups 3 ahead of us or 3 behind, but they wouldn’t let the poor guy go early! “We have to keep the groups together” said the starter. So I get to the box 8 min ahead of tee time to hit some putts, and the starter hurries ME because the other guy had been waiting. What the????

You guys have some issues at the box and with your rules. As the only group out in an hour span, one would think you’d be a little more kind. Not today.

Plan on spending an extra hour looking for golf balls in the foot tall grass on the steep hills on the sides of every hole, if you're a 10 handicap or higher. Don't worry about falling behind the pace, because the group ahead of you will be doing the same thing. Amazing course, but they need a bigger lawn mower or a herd of goats.
